Taken down by leaks of investigation just prior to '06 congressional election, to the benefit of Scotty Burglar's close pal, Joe Sestak. Apparently a lot of animosity toward him in the CIA at that time and lots of FR coverage of the military intelligence unit Able Danger that he publicized. Certainly one of the House losses the Dems used to gain control.

is there anything new on Tom DeLay’s case from Texas? Did it end with Ronnie Earle’s retirement, and if so, does DeLay have any recourse to legal payback to Earle?

On Oct. 16, 2006, FBI agents raided the homes and business office of Sexton and Weldon's daughter, Karen. The agents reportedly were investigating whether the congressman had used his position to steer about $1 million in lobbying contracts to their firm. But, nothing on Murtha?

I wonder if this “probe”, as they call it, had anything to do with Weldon being about to reveal Clinton’s weakening of our intelligence system to the point it was easy to fly transport planes of people into buildings with people?

Now that the Justice Department witch hunt is over, can we go back to discussing serious things, like the Able Danger program and why it failed?
