Liberals are giddy over revealing photos of Miss California, Carrie Prejean (good Lord! She's still in the news cycle?!), surfacing on the 'net, with the first of six released, thus far:
With partially nude photos of her popping up on Web sites questioning her Christian credentials, Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has fired back, claiming the racy pictures are just modeling shots and vowing to continue her battle against same-sex marriage.“I am a Christian, and I am a model,” Prejean said in a statement released overnight to the media. “Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be.”
~~~ The Web site thedirty.com claimed that it had six pictures of Prejean. As of Tuesday morning, it had posted one on its site. The picture shows Prejean wearing nothing but a pair of revealing pink panties and smiling over her shoulder at the camera. Her breasts are covered by her arm.
The picture was deemed too racy to be shown on the TODAY Show.
Too "racy" for the TODAY Show? Give me a break! A year ago, the Today Show had no issue with showing a "racy" photo of influential teen star, Miley Cyrus. Make no mistake: They're only feigning the photo is too risque for their viewing audience, because they share an agenda with like-minded liberals, out to nail another conservative to a cross.
They're dragging Prejean through the mud for saying the following:
“I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage; and you know what? I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”
Oh, how outrageous that was! That she expressed a personal opinion! That she exercised the freedom of speech liberal "progressives" so love to champion. Oh, wait...I see the problem: She expressed a conservative opinion and viewpoint. Hence, the indignation and attempt to ridicule and slime her.
Meanwhile, we have a PotUS who also claims to read the Bible and who has stated a similar view. To the Chicago Tribune:
"I'm a Christian. And so, although I try not to have my religious beliefs dominate or determine my political views on this issue, I do believe that tradition, and my religious beliefs say that marriage is something sanctified between a man and a woman."
Where is the lefty outrage? Oh, I get it: Prejean was only contesting for Miss USA. Obama, on the other hand, campaigned to be elected President of the United States of America. It all makes sense to me, now. He doesn't really mean it.
Maybe liberals are giving now-President Obama a free pass on his hate-filled, anti-gay, hurtful and insensitive comments because they believe that in his heart, he does sympathize with the plight of gay marriage; that he is merely expressing what is politically necessary and expedient for him to say. Supporting the traditional definition of marriage is the position and belief of the mainstream majority in America.

See, this is what happens when you speak out against the liberal agenda, they go after you, they degrade you, they smear you. They did this to Joe the Plumber because he dare ask the Messiah a simple question, now they are doing this to Carrie because she is FOR traditional marriage, tell me what is so “controversial” about being FOR marriage between a man and a woman, that is what this country was founded on, that is what it has always been, not for men and men to get married and women and women, it’s sick. I feel bad for Carrie but she will continue to stand up for what is right

If you speak out against gay marriage they attack you personally. The goal is to make people afraid (terrorfied) to speak out.

Our country has no future if we can’t have open, honest debate without fear of reprisal. We’re a country based on ideas, not force.
It never fails to stun me that the gays preach acceptance and tolerance (more like force it down everyone’s throat, no pun intended), and when someone questions their motives or disagrees with their lifestyle, they become the most hateful, vitriolic, nasty group of people you’d ever wanna meet. They can’t argue rationally, because the facts are against them, and facts are stubborn things. So they revert to name-calling, catty, bitchy queens that they are.
Because she expressed an opinion that is not the same as theirs. Instead of having real debate, it’s far easier to destroy someone this way. That way, they don’t have to come up with cogent arguments.
They cant lose. If they find “dirt” (this hardly qualifies) then she is a hypocrite. If they don’t, then she is a “prig” and a “reactionary”.

To a liberal, it’s perfectly OK for two gay men to have sex in front of a bunch of kindergarten school kids in the name of diversity, but photographs of a woman in underwear is a friggin scandal.

MSNBC wants to SAY the photos are “to racy to be shown” because they want their viewers to imagine the photo to be worse than it is. The one photo shown is about what I see in Victoria’s Secret catalog ads.

Author was trying to be clever. He isn't talking about Carrie Prejean. Read the article, look at the pictures. The person in question, wearing scandalously little clothing, expressed the same opinion as Prejean.

I really don’t want to go here, but years ago there was a sport called gay bashing. With the latest spew from Perez Hilton, and the radical gay community in general I can see a resurgence of the sport.
I don’t tolerate the in my face crap anymore. Any queer who wants to debate is welcome to do so right up to the point where they turn nasty, then I give what I get.
I think it’s time for everyone to stop tolerating this attitude and start giving it back. It’s obvious that these radicals are baiting for some physical response - done in public of course - so they can cry the blues. A private response is generally more effective.
This woman spoke her mind, nothing more, nothing less. When free speech is grounds for public humiliation then it’s time to take back the night.

yeah, I felt that way too - that I was safe out here in the boonies, until the liberals gained control of our school district and showed their “diversity” by hiring a gay superintendent of schools......and guess what? we find out a few years after he left that he lied about his credentials and was never qualified for the job. imagine that.

Who was the beauty queen that gave up her crown because of nude photos? They were real nude photos! Does anyone remember how the lame stream media covered that?
It’s pretty obivious that the leftwing seems to have this stereotypical image if what a Christian is? Very odd since they think they are so enlightened. I wonder if they realize how silly they look to the 80%+ of Christians in this country?
From their point of view, the higher moral laws that Christians claim people should follow is an invention of Christians. (In their terms something Christians "shove down their throats" etc). And that Christians are motivated by wanting to feel "holier-than-thou" toward them.
For any real Christian this is not the case. The proper biblical Christian view is that higher moral laws are something universally imposed by God on all mankind. And Christians freely admit that they have not upheld them themselves. Which is btw, the view of almost everyone of our founding fathers (a fact I mention often to counteract willful distortion of the matter).
The progressives are not just hateful to be hateful. They are hateful in part because they are profoundly ignorant.
