A herd of pigs in Canada has tested positive for swine flu, after coming into contact with a human carrier.
The pigs were apparently infected by an Alberta farm worker who had recently returned from Mexico.
The herd, in the western province of Alberta, has been quarantined.
Many new cases of swine flu have been diagnosed among humans in Canada, where the total number of sufferers has risen from 35 to 85.

So.... it’s the Mexicans who are giving....
Never mind.
Someone needs to make a pic of the pigs wearing surgical masks.
Well then, let’s just consider ourselves fortunate that pigs aren’t likely to round up and slaughter all humans as a health precaution.
Are you suggesting the farm worker might have been “romantically involved” with the pigs?
:)

This is not a good sign. We normally can’t catch swine flu, nor can we give human flu to swine.
This exchange is not good. This may taper off this summer (although remain a problem in the southern hemisphere) only to come this fall with a vengeance.
