I’m so lucky to have Sensenbrenner as my rep, my state rep is good too (Grothman if you care). Unfortunately, I have Kohl and Feingold for my federal senators, gag. There are some conservative reps out there, and the removal of Specter is just a start to purging these libs out our the republican party. This is what we need, remove the rinos. To the Libs, keep pushing your agenda, you’ll be skunked sooner than you realize. If not, we own the guns and ammo.....

I nominate Perez Hilton for the diversity committee.

I see they left off Robert Johnson, who actually founded a network (BET), instead of just pimping his way into “chief diversity officer” at a Fortune 500. Johnson is the richest black man in America. However he derided Barack Obama, ridiculed him on his coke use and community organizing, supported Hillary and was friends with G.W. Bush, so he is unwelcome.

“Leave it to the left to couch this in terms that sound as if racial in scope. They’re going to charge this effort, so that if you oppose it, you’re a vile person.”

Family planning...who could POSSIBLY be against nice young people PLANNING a family?

Yes really, and several in congress are pushing the fight hard too. Mike Pence for one.

Rush alone has 300 million listeners, per year, at last count. And he owns EIB. The left has tried this stuff before, left wing radio does not make advertisers money, since no one listens, and it goes under very quickly as a result. Right wing talk radio makes money, which is why it is successful.

I am all for Fairness Doctrine

Equal air time on the major news nets, CNN, MSNBC, CNBS, etc

Equal space in the newspapers seeing as how they use public networks and the streets to deliver their product

I am in the bluest of blue northeast states, with a “so-so” Republican as my rep. Probably the most we could hope for.

Things are so tilted to the left, I’m surprised they haven’t tried to shut down the churches in my state.

Oh well. I really, really hope America wakes up, before it’s too late. Again, having an opposition party would help.

Poor you in the NE. There are many local conservatives in our area ready to take back our constitution (local and fed), and they’re very vocal. We’re starting from the bottom up, and soon, we’ll be there. Wisconsin has always been a ‘red state’ it’s just that the lib big cities are determining our politics which makes us appear blue. Good luck to you!

..the ability of technology to get around censorship is near absolute.

I've discovered internet radio and haven't listened to broadcast radio except in my truck. I know it'll be screwed up sooner or later, but right now I'm digging the near-constant music format of internet radio.

Obama has something right, start from the bottom up for change. Hopium isn’t just for the libs. Run for office, support your local conservatives, build it up, get involved from the local level and it will trickle up. You can make changes locally. Again, Good luck to you!

It’s not the big city stations that I worry about as there is already “diversity” with NPR, Spanish radio, “progressive” talk radio, etc. It’s the small towns who have Rush and Sean and Mark on in the p.m. They also broadcast the local HS football and baseball teams, provide community service announcements, emergency weather, etc. They are often the only station in rural areas. They are the ones (and their working class audience) that will be hurt with this “diversity” drive.

Check this out:

USA Buys Enough Guns in 3 Months to Outfit the Entire Chinese and Indian Army

Law abiding US citizens bought on average 3,177,256 guns every 3 months in 2008.

EveryTown, USA - -(AmmoLand.com)- In just 3 months Americans bought enough guns to outfit the entire Chinese and Indian army’s combined.

“You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.” - Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto WWII

You also bought 1,529,635,000 rounds of ammunition in just the month of December 2008. Yeah that is right, that is Billion with a “B”. This number takes no accounting of reloading or reloaded ammunition.

This is an evaluation of overall firearms and ammunition purchases based on low end numbers per Federal NIC instacheck data base Statistics. The numbers presented are only PART of the overall numbers of arms and ammunition that have been sold. The actual numbers are much higher.

I must say I'm only a tad concerned. Rush keeps saying he is staying just where he is. I think there will be a great war if they were to attempt to pass such a foolish thing.

"The unanswered question is: are the Conservative Talk Radio icons willing to really fight for their microphone?"

Absolutely. I just stated in a previous post that Rush keeps saying he is staying just where he is and not to worry. With Rush leading the way, I am fully confident the rest will follow.
