Was Joe Biden giving solid advice . . . or sowing the seeds of panic? Asked on Today this morning how he’d counsel family members in light of the swine flu, the Veep said he wouldn’t take a plane, a subway train, or be in any other confined space.
Just minutes later, the Morning Joe crew kicked around Biden’s remarks, Pat Buchanan expressing bemusement that we were still letting in planeloads from Mexico, and Joe Scarborough suggesting the White House will be under pressure today to either confirm or back away from Biden’s comment.

For the life of me I can’t come to a rational, sensible conclusion about this flu.
Since we already know that over 30,000 people in the U.S. die from flu every year and most of the people who have come down with it so far are experiencing common flu symptoms- the reaction from authorities don’t make sense.
UNLESS- there is information we’re not being given.

Maybe the gov. is just stirring the fear factor up to keep the water muddy and everyone off kilter. This continued atmosphere of fear about the economy, health, defense, takeover of busineses, socialistic governing, just a barage of topics that people are trying to process.
If the swine flu were really an epidemic, pandemic, whatever they would have closed the borders.

Anyone know the incubation period for this bug? I flew on Saturday. Incubation (according to CDC) seems to be 2 days.
Duration of disease and mortality rate still seem to be anybody's guess.

Something does not add up. TWO people in Milwaukee are SUSPECTED to have swine flu and they just announced the closings of FOUR schools. Also they said classmates are now experiencing symptoms....The fact that the deaths in Mexico are manily healthy people in the 20-50 age range is what is freaking out the experts. That and the fact it a combination of bird, pig, and two kinds of human flu.
Maybe that flyover of NYC by AF1 was a test of some sort for the Messiah to fly away and view the dying masses from the comfort of his plane?

Every year, 36,000 people die of flu. How many US citizens have died from this flu? And we're going into full panic mode? Yes -- either they are over-reacting, or else they know that this an unfolding nightmare that cannot be stopped and can only be managed.
