Skip to comments.Obama will campaign for me, Specter says [it's time for conservatives to rally around Toomey]

Specter says that President Obama, his old friend Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) have all agreed to campaign and raise cash for him -- and that he will welcome the fundraising help of Penn. Gov. Ed Rendell, another old friend.
An unspecified group of national leaders will huddle together tomorrow to discuss those plans, he said.

Conservatives were already rallying around Toomey...which is why Specter fled the RNC.
The porkulus bill needs to be the 2010 wedge issue. The RNC needs to spend every cent they have admonishing every member of Congress who voted to increase our deficit by $1.8 trillion in 2009.
Wow, I had know idea that the dems were so terrified that Toomey was going to win the senate seat from specter.
That was easy! No time wasted; he’s right at home with his new comrades.
I’ve got to admit, Sphincter looked funny wearing those pink kneepads with the Obama logos on them this morning.
The RNC better start rallying support for Toomey now. He has conservative support but the GOP needs to make up its mind once and for all and get out in a big way. The electon will be overrun with Soros money from out of state , so they’ll need to stay united on this one.
The time of republican/democrat politics is over.
The RNC is not the answer.
Bought and paid for.

Well, of course I am, Mr. Specter said when asked if hes worried about the conservative backlash. But (President) John Kennedy had it right. He said, Sometimes the party asks too much. And this is something I think is necessary for the country. It goes beyond politics. It goes beyond the Democratic or Republican position. Its the right thing for America.
Mr. Specter said he would have supported the package even if Democrats had not added $6.5 billion in additional money for the National Institutes of Health to the final version of the bill.
Mr. Specter had sought the money for years, and had mentioned that he wanted the money in the bill when he met with President Barack Obama last week.
Thats only one small part ... Thats not determinative in my mind, he said.
The stimulus vote could create a political problem, he said, but I thought the public interest was so important that I have to take whatever problems it brings me.
Specter is right. The NWO is at hand.
The RNSC needs to sue him to recover any and all money they have helped him raise since his re-election. They raised money for him as a Republican and he has committed fraud by switching parties and holding on to the money that was previously raised for him.
The current RNC is part of the NWO
Specters whole attitude has been infantile, someone needs to put a diaper on his butt and a pacifier in his mouth, maybe that’s vice versa!!!!!
It’s important that conservatives heavily support Norm Coleman. I realize Coleman too is a RINO, but Franken is a freak of leftism. Coleman must succeed in his quest to thwart Zero’ agenda.
Shouldn’t be a problem, he has ACORN on his side now.
Looking to the RNC for solutions is not the answer. It was in 2000 but not anymore.
Obama will throw you under the bus when the Dems run a “diverse” candidate in the primary. And you won’t have a friend left.
Yes, and the Founders were all Masons. And the Pentaverate meets bi-annually at a secret compound in Colorado known as “The Meadows”. I hated Colonel Sanders with his wee beady eyes.
2. Toomey will get crushed in the general: Santorum should get in this race.
THE TRUTH ABOUT
by Mary Tracy
ARLEN SPECTER AND THE JFK ASSASSINATION
The Single Bullet Theory
To support the scenario that a lone assassin (Oswald) could fire the purported number of shots within an allotted time frame, the Warren Commission concluded that one of the bullets fired that fateful day hit both Kennedy and Connally. This conclusion came to be known as the “single bullet theory.” However, given the location of Kennedy’s and Connally’s wounds, for the “single bullet theory” to be correct, the bullet would have had to change course several times, behaving in the manner shown in the diagram (below left). The chief architect of the “single bullet theory” was the Warren Commission’s ambitious junior counsel, Arlen Specter, now U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania. In the reenactment photo (below right) Specter, with his pointer in hand, attempts to make the “single bullet theory” appear more plausible by deceptively indicating a straight line trajectory for the bullet.
While Specter managed to sell his “single bullet theory” to the Warren Commission, he had trouble selling it to the American public. A recent New York Times/CBS poll found that 77 percent of Americans rejected the Warren Report’s conclusions.

Testimony of an Eyewitness
In Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963, two women, Jean Hill and Mary Moorman, were standing on the south side of Elm Street in Dealy Plaza, as Kennedy’s motorcade passed. They were two of the closest eyewitnesses to President Kennedy when he was struck with the fatal head shot. Jean Hill would later be questioned by Warren Commission attorney Arlen Specter. Hill recalled her encounter with Specter with journalist/author Jim Marrs:
“The FBI took me to Parkland Hospital. I had no idea what I was doing there. They escorted me through a labyrinth of corridors and up to one of the top floors of Parkland. I didn’t know where we were. They took me into this little room where I met Arlen Specter. He talked to me for a few minutes, trying to act real friendly, then this woman, a stenographer, came in and sat behind me. He had told me that this interview would be confidential, then I looked around and this woman was taking notes. I reminded him that the discussion was to be private and he told the woman to put down her notebook, which she did. But when I looked around again she was writing. I got mad and told Specter, ‘You lied to me. I want this over.’ He asked me why I wouldn’t come to Washington, and I said, ‘Because I want to stay alive.’ He asked why I would think that I was in danger and I replied, ‘Well, if they can kill the President, they can certainly get me!’ He replied that they already had the man that did it and I told him, ‘No, you don’t!’
He kept trying to get me to change my story, particularly regarding the number of shots. He said I had been told how many shots there were and I figured he was talking about what the Secret Service told me right after the assassination. His inflection and attitude was that I knew what I was supposed to be saying, why wouldn’t I just say it. I asked him, ‘Look, do you want the truth or just what you want me to say?’ He said he wanted the truth, so I said, ‘The truth is that I heard between four and six shots.’ I told him, ‘I’m not going to lie for you.’ So he starts talking off the record. He told me about my life, my family, and even mentioned that my marriage was in trouble. I said, ‘What’s the point of interviewing me if you already know everything about me?’ He got angrier and finally told me, ‘Look, we can even make you look as crazy as Marguerite Oswald and everybody knows how crazy she is. We could have you put in a mental institution if you don’t cooperate with us.’ I knew he was trying to intimidate me....
He finally gave me his word that the interview would not be published unless I approved what was written. But they never gave me the chance to read it or approve it. When I finally read my testimony as published by the Warren Commission, I knew it was a fabrication from the first line. After that ordeal at Parkland Hospital, they wrote that my deposition was taken at the U.S. attorney’s office in the Post Office Building.”
ARLEN SPECTER QUESTIONS ANITA HILL
In her book, Speaking Truth to Power, Anita Hill relates her experience with Arlen Specter during the Senate confirmation hearings for Judge Thomas:
“Specter began by assuring me that he was simply trying ‘to find out what happened.’ Nevertheless, in short order, any hope that Senator Specter would transcend the political was dashed. He began his questioning with an unmistakably prosecutorial tone. He used a familiar cross-examination tactic—a tactic common in sexual harassment cases. He ridiculed my reaction to Thomas’ behavior, suggesting that I was being oversensitive, even to the point of misrepresenting my testimony....
The tension between Senator Specter and me was measurable. The process seemed to break down completely. Senator Specter would repeat the same questions until he got the answer he wanted.... To the press and spectators, we must have sounded silly and ill tempered. More than one sigh erupted from the seats behind me as Specter returned to the questioning and I once more gave my explanation. Clearly, neither of us would budge from our position.
Something in the back of my head said, ‘Just say what he wants you say and get on with it.’ But I was much too stubborn to do that. And the more he pursued it, the more inclined I was to resist. Digging in was, perhaps, for me one way of hanging on to some amount of my dignity. By now I knew that his questions were both insincere and ill informed. Though I tried to answer him, I was equally determined that the senator not put words in my mouth.
With every question he asked, it became clearer that despite any declaration to the contrary, he viewed me as an adversary. Rather than seeking to elicit information, his questioning sought to elicit a conclusion that he had reached before the hearing began.”
Yeah and he’s going to pay my mortgage and put gas in my car blah blah blah.
Maybe Obama cured his cancer so now old Arlen owes him.
This is the part that amuses me, having the top jock mash down his own.
I am shocked and hate how early that the primaries are held. If this had been delayed until Feb/Mar of 2010, he wouldn’t have had an opportunity to flip. This flip will be off the radar screen when the real election comes up.
The only answer, way, truth and life is found in Jesus Christ
And because that is true, conspiracies exist?
Let me try and take this very slowly . . .
1. Here’s the link from my tagline. PLEASE . . . inform yourself to this degree—read at least 2 quotes from that link per screen-full.
2. THEN come back and assert that you have read that much and still have 0.0000% belief in any conspiracy by a globalist oligarchy to set up a world government.
3. You might also view the oligarchy’s ten commandments at the Georgia Guidestones here:
Though they don’t articulate their goal of forcefully reducing the world’s population to 200 million.
4. I realize you appear to—likely—have no respect for my study of their original source materials in my job as acting Director of the University Library Special Collections Dep from 1965-1969 . . . and study of the forces etc. involved the last 40+ years . . .
Similarly, I have no respect for willful blindness & ignorance.
5. Just taking Scripture at face value for the END TIMES PROPHECIES and working forward from Israel becoming a Nation in 1948 as precisely predicted . . . most of the END TIMES conspiracy stuff would be at least well predictable in at least outline form.
6. I used to dread the day when I no longer had to try so hard to wake FREEPERS UP. That day has arrived. Bringing up the rear on the waking brigade is not an admirable thing.
Thanks for the ping!
Do you believe in the prophecies of the Bible? Not a trick question, just want a yes or no.
MEMO to Spector: Be careful what you ask for. This time next year, you may not want him anywhere near you!
CERTAINLY I DO BELIEVE IN THE PROPHECIES OF THE BIBLE.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE PROPHECIES OF THE BIBLE?
DO YOU BELIEVE WE ARE IN THOSE PROPHESIED END TIMES?
Do you believe that the Bible prophecies say that there will be a one world government during the end times?
YOUR TURN TO ANSWER FIRST.
Yes, I believe and you don’t need to yell.
Now, do you believe that the Bible prophecies a one world government during the end times?
If you believe in the bible prophecies then you are on the
dept of homeland security watch list ... with me ...
Of course I believe the Bible predicts a one world government in the end times.
Have tried to be a diligent watchman on the wall for decades.
I figure I was an early list member.
Then why get upset over something that we know is going to happen and we can do nothing about? The prophesy isn’t a warning “Do this or that will happen”, it’s a statement of fact “This will happen”.
The forces that push this into happening are well known and have been well known for two thousand years to believers. It isn’t a secret cabal of men, it isn’t a group looking to gain power, it’s the Prince of the Air who is pushing this forward.
These men who are making these decisions are just pawns in his hand.
Trust me, a group of men with that much money and power who wanted to take over the world and haven’t yet are simply incompetent. That is why the conspiracy stuff falls apart.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood (these manmade conspiracies) but against Principalities and Powers (Satan and his supernatural forces).
It will happen. The fact that we can see it happening should be affirming our faith.
Instead of freaking out and fighting against the flesh and blood, we need to talk to our friends and families who don’t believe and point out that the book that they refer to as myths and stories accurately describes the world we live in.
Conspiracy theories hurt our credibility since they don’t stand up to reason and logic. Prophecy helps us since reason and logic must bow to reality, that is, what is actually happening.
Then your 'faith' is fatalism.
No, I believe the Bible. A one world government will be established. It will be the vehicle the prophet of the Anti-Christ uses to control the world.
It’s not fatalism, it’s an acceptance of what will happen.
Of course, that assumes that Arlen will will a Democrat primary in PA. There's no guarantee that will happen.
Sounds like a schizoid sort of perspective, to me.
1. Fear is not for Believers . . . not of the enemy nor of man.
2. There is no conspiracy THEORY in my perspective. Simply facts, probable facts, conjectures and some % for disinformation.
3. OF COURSE satan is behind it all. You made it sound like he’s not working through a cabal dedicated to him. Humans have been and are involved rather intimately, to say the least.
4. OF COURSE it will happen regardless. I happen to be of the opinion that watchmen on the wall are obligated to God to try and awaken folks and at least alert them to realties.
