WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama has ordered an internal review to determine how the decision was made to send of one of his official airplanes on a low-flying photo op past the New York City skyline.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Tuesday that deputy chief of staff Jim Messina will lead the review. Gibbs said the point is to determine "why that decision was made and to ensure that it never happens again."
Gibbs said Obama was "furious" when he heard about the incident. Obama has called it a mistake.

How was the decision made? You mean he doesn’t know? Who is running his administration anyway? If anyone that is.

No, he was furious somebody was pi$$ed about it. Until that happened, he probably thought it was a jolly idea.
The point is Obama’s cabinet picks are not making good judgment decisions. We have seen this repeatedly in Obama’s “100” days. It shows Obama’s lack of good judgment.

I should be looking forward to the next four years, as BO and his media whores twist themselves into funny shapes trying to duck responsibility for what will likely be one screwup after another. But I’m not.

Some group was probably charged with setting up photo ops and thought this would be a good idea.
IIRC, Back in the X42 era a junior staffer who was supposed to be setting up promotional crap for a trip to the Philippines wanted to steam some warships into the harbor. Someone more sensible had to slap him down.
This time around no one was there with the sense or cajones to slap the idea down.
Now Obama’s (you gotta love how this name still isn't in the spellchecker) pissed because someone on his team did something stupid when he has other problems to worry about and didn't need this too.

Not to quibble with words or anything, but that plane belongs to "We the People." Obama is the one privileged to ride in it as he serves "We the People." If he would just keep that in mind, things like this act of terrorism wouldn't happen. Unfortunately, this entire administration is about "Me the One."
How many people in America can personally order Air Force One or it’s back up to do a fly by in New York?
