We went as a family, for the first time, the 3rd week in August years ago. Hot as hell. Then we went two years ago in January and very enjoyable (weather and line wise). If we ever go again as a family, it won’t be in Summer.
How are you certain? Unless they flashed you their genitalia, you don’t know. And according to everything I’ve researched about Disney, they do not hire men to play the “face” characters, such as Jasmine, Aladdin, Ariel, Mary Poppins, Cinderella, etc. Charcters that wear full costumes and do not speak (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Stitch) are played by male or female, since they wear full masks and don’t speak.
We wanted to do the water parks. As for January, you have to be careful. My first trip to Orlando was in college in January. The temp averaged about 20 degrees for the week we were there. Thankfully, we had heavy jackets from our ride to the airport in NYC.
