definitely.
Well, I’d say that’s more of a concern than a panic.
It will go something like this...
"Because the Mexican government is so busy battling the drug lords that are armed by the NRA and other Right Wing elements of the Republican party, the swine flu is wreaking havoc on the innocent and clean people of Mexico"
Hilary Clinton, Secretary of State
Implementing Marxism at a rapid rate is a 'concern', not a panic?
How much does ACORN pay you to troll these boards?
When I can’t go to the sporting goods store and buy ammo, powder or primers then I say it’s time to panic. That’s my standard.
To be fair, I am using ‘panic’ as a pejorative. I don’t see the sense in panicking, even if Marxism is being implemented as we write.
Panicking means not thinking clearly among other things. It cuts down effectiveness and economy considerably.
If that makes me an ACORN suspect, I’ll just have to disappoint you.
Maybe we’re not all on the same page as to what ‘panic’ means. I agree with you, but place a premium on remaining cool and maintaining one’s wits.
And that’s inconsistent with ‘panic.’
I think it's been longer than 24 hours. And, it the fact that the flu is killing young (20 and 30 year olds, not infants) people and it's not killing people with compromised immune systems. That is a very ominous sign for people that study and research influenza strains.
It could very well turn out to be nothing, but it's the age of the victims that is sounding the alarm right now.
IF
by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream-and not make dreams your master;
If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!
“”How many of these deaths are either drug cartel people or future U.S. illegal immigrants?””
Give it a rest.
It was a GREAT book. (The Stand)
Also by King: The Eyes of the Dragon. It’s not even close to what you’d expect from him, but a superb story.
The first case was seen in Mexico on April 13. The outbreak coincided with the President Barack Obamas trip to Mexico City on April 16.
Obama was received at Mexicos anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archeologist
who died the following day from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported.
The newspaper didnt confirm if Solis had swine flu or not.

lol!
A mug of hot lemonade is great for a sore throat but I think you might also want to take 2000iu vit D with it these days.
I think it is the heat and the vit C that helps when I take it but I do take D as well.
I'm not a doctor or health care professional, but I've read a few books on the subject.
As some others have pointed out, the 1918 flu was so damaging because the immune systems of the healthiest people actually worked against them in something called a cytokine storm, or at least this is a popular theory amongst people who studied the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. Oddly enough, it was the strong and healthy that were most at risk.
Virologist are looking at the recent Mexico flu outbreak with great interest because of the age of the victems and it's similarity to 1918.
Women and minorities to be affected worse.
LOL
