The Obama administration has asked a federal judge to throw out a lawsuit against Iran filed by Americans held hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran 30 years ago.

The request comes in a $6.6 billion class-action lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Washington. Fifty-two American diplomats and military officials were held captive for more than a year at the end of Jimmy Carter's presidency by a group of Islamist students who supported the Iranian revolution.

I'm waiting for him to unfreeze Iran's assets at 4:55pm on some Friday. Iran will then pull all their money out right before the banks close. That will occur after the Friday evening news stories have been selected and by Monday it will be "old news" which isn't worth covering.

Iran is a major sponsor, if not THE MAJOR SPONSOR, of terrorism. It gives terrorist organizations weapons and money. Yet Obama has banned the use of the word “terrorism” in his administration, unless of course he and Napolitano want to refer to U.S. military veterans, who they say are terrorist suspects.

Obama is more concerned about trying to discredit the Bush administration than he is concerned about finding out the terrorists’ plans to strike us again - this month, this year, next year.......

Under Bush, we had no further attacks after 9/11/01.
