Lezsee now, Rahmbo was on the Freddie Mac board for quite a while, paying out big bucks to political friends from the Freddie Mac coffers. Rahmbo had this dead fish routine and knife stuck in the table schtick to frighten his enemies. I wonder where Rahmbo was last night.

2 threads in breaking. Seems to be some dispute over the method used.

...our first Vince Foster under Obama. How sad for his family

If only we could find out what he really knew...

Though Kellerman himself was not targeted in the investigation, he was in line to get bonuses totaling $850,000 over the next year, according to the AP report. Lawmakers don't tend to be happy about huge executive bonuses when the money is coming out of taxpayers' pockets.

Is it me or are they trying to spin it as if the bonuses had something to do with it? I find his pending bonus totally irrelevant to his suicide.

Frankly, I wish it were Franklin Raines. I know that’s ghoulish, not charitable, and un-Christian, but nobody is going to hold the filthy crooks at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac accountable because they are complicit with Congress in creating this mess, so the least they could do is dispatch themselves.

Oh please. As long as the money is going into their own pockets or those of their friends, they are thrilled.

Others 'got away with murder' at Freddie, but this poor guy had a different fate, apparently.

Jamie Gorelick (yes, THAT Jamie Gorelick of 9-11 Brick Wall fame) earned an estimated $26,000,000 serving as vice chair of Fannie Mae from 1998 to 2003.

The Clinton administration's White House Budget Director Franklin Raines ran Fannie and collected $50,000,000.

Big Democrat Jim Johnson, recently on Obama's VP search committee, has hauled in millions from his Fannie Mae CEO job. Johnson earned $21,000,000 in just his last year at Fannie Mae.

Police didn't disclose the specific cause of death...at least they have real police investigating this, and not park rangers who helped bungle - er- investigate the Vince Foster affair.....

Though not of AIG vintage it looks like he did, ala Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa, the "honorable thing".

Freddie Mac and sister company Fannie Mae plan to pay more than $210 million in bonuses in 2009 and 2010.

So will Barney and friends haul those folks before Congress and berate them like they did with the AIG folks? THAT should be interesting to see, since it was Barney and his friends who set these corporations up in the first place.
