Lt. Quarles Harris, Jr...
Anyone remember any ‘suicides’ during the Bush Administration? I certainly don’t. Don’t remember any unsolved murders, either.
Tom Lantos reminds me of the Dangerous Stranger that my Mom would warn us about
May have been "Obamacide" as well. Hanging would be the symbolic method of choice.
I wonder if he was prepared to speak out against Obama, Dodd, Frank, and others that helped perpetrate this mess...
This is probably the most damning “economic” news to come out yet, regarding the current financial crisis.
and I’m afraid your article offers a plausible reason fir why a man in his position would ctually do this.
And If he was murdered, this is even worse!
Your right no suicides under Reagan or Bush. We have become a banana republic. This will just get worse and with the MSM it will all be under reported or should I say commented on because the reporters of the 1950s are all gone, investigations are a thing of the past
Hmmm. Return the bonus, or kill himself ... return the bonus, or kill himself.
The man was well compensated, and in no apparent financial distress.
I've looked into this some, and there is a curious lack of coverage, other than a year-old story from the Washington Times and a few stray blogs. He was not Lt. Quarles Harris. His name was Leiutenant Quarles Harris. He was shot at close range while sitting in his car, in NE Washington, DC, outside a church. He had recently exited the church, with a muffin and a bottle of water. He was killed at approximately 11:08 PM, on a Thursday night. His mother, Cleopatria, was concerned enough about his possibly being murdered as a result of his turning informant regarding the passport case, that she and others in the community offered a reward for information.
What are you trying to say?
I was not bad mouthing Broader I was Bad Mouthing Tom Lantos You do know who Tom Lantos is and what he said ? Yes
The statistical chances of him just happening to get murdered after deciding to cooperate have got to be in the order of a lottery held for the universe: just too astronomically remote to even be considered. As usual, as with Vince Foster and Ron Brown, we get... nothing. His murder will remain unsolved, and the press will not speak a word more on the subject. I used to think Mexico was corrupt, but they’re just pikers compared with the US Government.
