I’ve read The Economist for about 15 years. Used to read it cover to cover when I lived overseas. Now, I admit I skip about half of the articles ... always meaning to ‘get back to them’.
Unfortunately, it is becoming increasing ‘editorial’.
Vanity Fair has some pretty good articles once in a while as well, as does suprisingly, Mother Jones.
I am the same way. I like the fact the writers are anonomyous—no celebrity journalism. Great covers too.
