In 2007-2008, 29,000 guns were recovered from crime scenes in Mexico. Exactly 5114 were traced to origins in the US. That is 17.6%. AFAIK not one of those guns was traced to a "gun shop on the border." Gun dealers have to submit paperwork on every gun they buy for resale. Yet not a single dealer, to my knowledge, has been arrested.

When I point out lies like this to my progressive coworkers they simply say he’s wrong. That is an option they didn’t allow Bush whenever he was wrong. So I respond, so the 2 choices that is he’s a liar or an idiot...which usually ends the conversation.
