ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Orange County man was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl who was playing with friends in her neighborhood. Marcus Younge, 23, was booked into jail, but was released on $5,000 bond Friday morning.

The girl's mother says Younge tried to grab her daughter while she was playing outside near Pershing Avenue and Goldenrod Road in Orlando.

The girl told investigators that she was playing hid and seek with neighborhood friends when an unknown black male came out of nowhere, grabbed her by the wrist and tried to pick her up.

When the courts so brazenly refuse confine people accused of dangerous crimes, like kidnapping a child, it's an invitation for people to start taking the law into their own hands. Not a recipe for a healthy and thriving republic.

9 years olds are not stupid. He was trying to kidnap her. If the courts won’t do their job then we will have to resort to vigilantism. Of course, that will sometimes harm the innocent too.

I am NOT speechless:

These are the same Liberals who are trying to take our guns away from us.

If someone with a weapon had been there, this perp would be cooling on a coronor’s slab and he would NEVER bother anyone ever again.

Time to take back the streets—and the entire country, IMO.

LOCK & LOAD

It should be that a pervert like this should be afraid to bond out of jail for the reception he likely will receive.

Guarantee ya, if some prevert had bothered my son as a kid I’d have been all over them.

The judge ought to take this misunderstood youth to his (or her) own house. I’ll bet the judge lives in a nice, safe, privately-policed gated community.

It’s past time for some tar and feathers.

Ok. Cops admitted they screwed up the paperwork.

Sheriff’s Office Mistake Frees Attempted Kidnapping Suspect (rookie cop blamed)

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County man was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl who was playing with friends in her neighborhood. Marcus Younge, 23, was booked into jail, but was released on $5,000 bond Friday morning, nearly 12 hours after his arrest.

“We took this very seriously. Anytime you attempt to abduct a child we book under no bond,” said Sergeant Rich Mankowich of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the arresting detective put a zero in the bond amount column on Younge’s arrest affidavit. The question is, how was he released without seeing a judge?
