If I’m going to make a trip to D.C. it’s going to be July 4th with torch and pitchfork in hand. Somehow celebrating Independence Day in any other way would be hollow....
If I make this trip I want to toss some tables.
I would not be opposed to Vendors, that’s the America Way isn’t it?

Does anyone think that the effort got the attention of any congress creeps or spinators that are not already aligned? Or do you think that they see us as a relevant minority who can’t get them elected again nor thrown out?I think they see us now but expect the excitement to dissipate before the elections. We have their attention and they will continue to watch us. If we continue to grow and sustain a movement, they will use the media and planted radicals in an attempt to isolate and marginalize the movement as only being partisan radicals.The effort may concern the ZERO camp but I don’t think they are really scared very badly and certainly not enlightened to change the path in any material way to our liking.
The protests against uncontrolled spending must include minorities and non-Republican voters. The one I attended in Houston was over 75% middle-age white people. If we cannot break out of this demographic we are sunk.
This means education and recruitment of other groups to become aware of the impact continued uncontrolled spending will have on their families. It also means focusing on the common bond against uncontrolled spending and not getting sidetracked with other issues that may be important to us personally. Things like gay rights, abortion, gun control, and other strongly partisan issues.
We can each puruse these issues in separate venues but as part of the Tea Party movement we must lay them aside and focus on areas where we agree.
I also think part of attracting a broader range of voters needs to start with exposing the influence of lobbyist money in both parties. See this video and the other videos at this site for an example.

Could this include every state capitol for those that cannot travel across country?
Can’t worry about 50 state protests and worrying if enough people of color attend...if so great but the main thing has to be NUMBERS.
The main stream media has painted us racists and out of touch repubs. Politicians have ignored us and think we are gonna fade away!
Only massive numbers in DC on 9/12 will do the trick! Let’s not water this thing down!

I went to the Promise Keepers event in DC in the mid-90s. There were so many people there that the city had no choice- we shut that place down. The traffic disruption was just a by-product of massive numbers.
We can do it again! July 4 this time!

We are moving forward on our rally in Washington D C.
We are working non stop in preparations for this historical event to be held Sept 12-13 2009 at the Lincoln Memorial Reflections pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can.
To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12 &13 were the next available days they had.
The other organization, resistnet.com, which was putting together a march for May 30, didn’t do this so they were refused their permit. Now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this absolutely as soon we can.
To have a successful march takes time and organization.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.
3. To demand that Congress and the Supreme court uphold our constitution.
4. To inform the public on the issue of Obama’s ineligibility to be president of the USA.
5. To demand that they can not take our constitutional rights away.
PRESIDENT OBAMA, WE DEMAND THAT YOU BE TRANSPARENT NOW
We will come together in a peaceful rally.
We are proud Americans who fear that we are losing the America we all know and love.
The America where millions have served in our military sacrificing their lives so that we remain free.
A people who honor their flag and understand what it means to fly it and are so proud to do so.
It is time for our voices to be heard loud and clear. Our government is for the people and by the people.
We are Americans who see our rights slipping away as we speak.
It is time our voices are heard.
