They’re simply voting for whomever they’re TOLD to vote for by the Union, rather than voting based on their own personal thought process.

Those construction workers who did vote this way are now fully getting what they voted for.

The groundskeepers at the White-house were making their rounds last week and discovered a small hole in the White-house fence. They asked a couple of contractors to come to the white-house and make bids on repairing the fence. Only two showed up, one was from Texas and the other was from Chicago. The head groundskeeper took the two contractors out and showed them the hole and then asked them how much it would cost to fix the fence. The Texican took out his tape-measure and measured the hole, made a few phone calls and then said "I can get her done for $700'. The head groundskeeper then asked the Chicago contractor "How much will it cost for you to do the job". The Chicago contractor looked around, leaned in close and whispered "$20,700". The groundskeeper then asked "You didn't even measure the hole or nothing, how can you make a bid like that?". The Chicago contractor once again looked around, leaned in close and said "$10,000 for you, $10,000 for me and we'll hire him to do the job.". Guess who got the contract.

Now do you understand how things have changed at the White-house?

Because the new administration ordered that ALL projects go through the complete environmental review instead of the short form review they used to do.

Since they control the money, they can do whatever they want to do.

Each and EVERY point you note is correct and we had everything on the list. However, they have changed the rules. What was approved before is NOT approved now. It is retroactively changing the rules.

I find it funny that most of the construction workers hate high taxes, environmental restrictions, and illegal immigrants with a murderous passion and yet most of them voted for Bama.

I have similar feelings about the coal miners (unions of course) here in West Virginia.

I wish you were right, but you are wrong. There is no such thing as a binding contract with the Corps of Engineers. When they change the rules, everyone has to fall in line. I have experienced this in small items in the past when a person who reviewed and approved a specific part of a project is replaced with someone else who has different ideas on what they want. They can and do “unapprove” what has been previously approved. However, I have NEVER seen anything as bad as this.

If we depopulate the Earth, the way the left wants, mainly by getting rid of those on the right (and babies and old people), we won’t need as many bridges. See how that works out?

I feel sorry for you guys in construction.

That's OK. Most of them haven't gotten here from Mexico yet.

I guess the NEPA reviews are supposed to be expedited for stimulus projects, we’ll see. Good luck!

Their unions told them who to vote for.
