I love science but I have learned that this concept of scientists being objective is total hogwash. Ideally, they would be, but in practice they are not. “Science” is objective, “scientists” aren’t.
“Science” is objective. Scientists practice science. Therefore scientists are objective. Isn’t that something like a syllogism?
There are good scientists and bad scientists. So, how about “Science” is objective, “scientists” who are politicized aren’t.
