scuttling back into their lairs, there to snivel in the eternal darkness of utter oblivion and CNN.

What about the Weather Channel whores; or the National Geographic? Those people have prostituted themselves beyond repair.

I love science but I have learned that this concept of scientists being objective is total hogwash. Ideally, they would be, but in practice they are not. “Science” is objective, “scientists” aren’t.

Talk about shallow sciene — “global warming” has not been disproved. In fact, I would say that “global warming” is a pretty well-established scientific fact. And so is global cooling a pretty well-established scientific fact.

What is *not* an established scientific fact and is, in fact, scientifically proven to be *wrong* — is — “Anthropogenic Global Warming”...

*Very obligatory* AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) post..., and yes..., we can make the quips, cracks, snide remarks, obvious statements, statements of protest, of common sense and so on — but — they’ll never convince anyone else..., like our neighbors and friends and relatives.

BUT, folks..., this is the *one* to see.., you can forget about all the other books, all the other articles, all the other movies... just see this one... LOL...

It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite *another* to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...

THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply *one* video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the *one*...

The following is an *excellent* video documentary on the so-called “Global Warming” I would recommend it to all FReepers. It’s a very well-made documentary.

“The Great Global Warming Swindle”

If you want to download it, via a BitTorrent site (using a BitTorrent client), you can get it at the following link.
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3635222/The_Great_Global_Warming_Swindle
[this is a high-quality copy, of about a gigabyte in size...]

It’s worth seeing and having for relatives, friends, neighbors and coworkers to see.

Also, see it online here...

[this one is considerably lower quality, is a flash video and viewable online, of course...]

Buy it here...

[this one would be the very highest quality version, on a DVD disk, of several gigabytes in size...]

Willie Soon should not be surprised at all by what he has found unless he actually believes that global warming alarmism has something to do with scientific inquiry.

He accused alarmists of using global warming as a decoy to provide cover for anti-growth and anti-development activists.

Anti-development ideology is also another candy wrapper for the source of the problem: envy. They aren't just against development, they want to destroy and take things away, especially the visibly large looking things. Leftism is envy, and most of it is size envy.

[“You, in this room, have bravely upheld the truth and the scientific method against all manner of lies, threats, sanctions, personal attacks, and entertaining revisions to your CreepyMedia biographies,” Monckton said. “Because you have not failed or faltered, the Forces of Darkness are now scuttling back into their lairs, there to snivel in the eternal darkness of utter oblivion and CNN.”]

The global warming cult, the evolution cult, the one world government cult, the fools who profess themselves to be wise and the fools who believe them, the democrat darkness cult, the “I can do it by myself because I am a great thinker cult; their madness is beyond all control and all these cults should be totally disregarded as human beings and should be mocked, scorned, and ostracized for the useful idiots of the corrupt political and spiritual powers they follow. Satan is their leader.

Sununu and Soon both said global warming alarmists, particularly the politicians and the few scientists who wrote the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports, have captured the scientific paper process, and in Sununu's words, have been successful in "taking control of who gets funding, who gets published, who gets acclaimed, and who gets demonized." "What happened to the peer-review process?" Soon asked rhetorically while reviewing egregious and complex examples of doctored data and sloppy scholarship in global warming alarmist literature.
thanks neverdem.
I must reiterate my feeling that experimentalists always welcome the suggestions of the theorists. But the present situation is ridiculous... In my considered opinion the peer review system, in which proposals rather than proposers are reviewed, is the greatest disaster to be visited upon the scientific community in this century. No group of peers would have approved my building the 72-inch bubble chamber. Even Ernest Lawrence told me that he thought I was making a big mistake. He supported me because my track record was good. I believe U.S. science could recover from the stultifying effects of decades of misguided peer reviewing if we returned to the tried-and-true method of evaluating experimenters rather than experimental proposals. Many people will say that my ideas are elitist, and I certainly agree. The alternative is the egalitarianism that we now practice and that I've seen nearly kill basic science in the USSR and in the People's Republic of China. -- Alvarez by Luis Alvarez (pp 200-201)
