Recession fueling right-wing extremism, U.S. says (My "extremism" in not recession caused)

MIAMI (Reuters) - Right-wing extremists in the United States are gaining new recruits by exploiting fears about the economy and the election of the first black U.S. president, the Department of Homeland Security warned in a report to law enforcement officials.

The April 7 report, which Reuters and other news media obtained on Tuesday, said such fears were driving a resurgence in "recruitment and radicalization activity" by white supremacist groups, antigovernment extremists and militia movements. It did not identify any by name.

DHS had no specific information about pending violence and said threats had so far been "largely rhetorical."

“exploiting fears about the economy and the election of the first black U.S. president”

Oh please, will they stop playing the race card??? It has NOTHING to do with his race.

The fears about the economy are real; the government is running it into the ground!!!!! We’re not exploiting anything! We’re simply telling the truth!

There are no right wing “extremists,” only right wing freedom fighters. Take control of the language. The right wing is about individual liberty as opposed to domination by the state. Educate the young, who will be getting stuck for all these bailouts, and they’ll turn against the fascists in a heartbeat.

The old saw is that you can judge a man by the company he keeps, well as Right-wing Extremism my company consists of, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, James Madison, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Nathan Hale, Stephen Decatur, Andrew Jackson, Theodor Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, and of course you my fellow ‘freepers’.
Now let’s look at Obama associates, William Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, George Soros, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich, Frank Marshall Davis, Alice Palmer, Frank Chapman….
And I am considered the DANGEROUS one? Go figure!

From Newsmax...last #

Nevertheless, the consequences of a prolonged economic downturn including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability to obtain credit could create a fertile recruiting environment for rightwing extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and government authorities similar to those in the past.

Only the right wing extremist effected by economic downturn including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability to obtain credit ? I don't think so. Nice try Commies.

Racial rhetoric explotation.
My opinions have nothing to do with anything except a loathing of socialists and their undermining of the core principles of my nation.

Right-wing extremists Americans in the United States are gaining new recruits even despite the MSM exploiting fears and lying about the economy and the election how wonderful the first black U.S. president really is not, the Department of Homeland Security warned in a report to law enforcement officials.

There...fixed it.

The right wing is about individual liberty as opposed to domination by the state

With notable exceptions, this is simply not true. The "right wing" empowered the most big government president since LBJ, GHWB, and did next to nothing to challenge Bush's assaults of individual privacy through the NSA and other agencies. Now that Obama is using the SAME methods against them, they are suddenly challenging executive power again (as they did under Clinton) but 90 percent of this challenge is opportunistic.

Mind you, I am glad they are objecting now....but let's not whitewash the past eight years. Perhaps if we go in with both eyes open this time, we won't throw concern about expansive executive power once a Republican is again the oval office.

"if it is decided to fight, be prepared to fight, bring a backpack, entrenching tool, tent, and other equipment of an Infantrymen. You will need it for Bush and his supporters decides it is better to fight than to accept the will of the people, the fight to overthrow them will be a long fight."

so folk are just supposed to sit by while jobs are shipped offshore, oil climbs the charts of unprecedented heights of manipulation, gubamint spending is so over the top no one even seems to grasp how deep a hole has been dug for future generations..

all to just advance a political agenda that so thoroughly seeks to ensnare us in its webs of deceit and treachery, and take us down a path to mediocrity.

Oh yeah, just be quiet folk, just be quiet.

HappY Days are here again.. just like 1930s Germany

And yet, at the G20 summit, the Left rioted, vandalized, attacked, set things on fire and even had one guy die but the press reported the protests as “mostly peaceful.” But, “theoretical” threats from the right are reason for concern and breathless press coverage.
