The announcement that the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA, has chosen a lesbian, pro-abortion president to lead the seminary has sent shock waves around the Anglican Communion. The appointment of Katherine Hancock Ragsdale highlights a week that also saw TEC bishop-elect Kevin Thew Forrester replace a reading from the New Testament with a reading from the Quran at St. Paul's Marquette, Michigan.
One wonders what Episcopal boundaries and barriers have yet to be crossed that the dying embers of historic Christianity could possibly fan into life. That the Diocese of Massachusetts has a functioning transgendered priest complete with a sex change operation (he appeared at Lambeth 2008) mocks not only marriage, but any notion of what normalcy in sexual matters might mean in The Episcopal Church. Consider, too, that 19 of the 41 resolutions to be presented at GC2009 have to do with normalizing same-sex unions, proposing same sex rites and deep-sixing a resolution - B033 - that restrains further homosexual ordinations into the priesthood. They mock The Episcopal Church as a Christian denomination.

At what point does the Episcopal Church become totally irrelevant? If a church can appoint a priest who can’t decide when a baby is a human being, there’s not much point in even going to the church.
She and the rest of the apostate church are going to be very useful to the chaos agenda of the future.
“Katherine Hancock Ragsdale”
A most unfortunate name.
All one can say was said by St. Paul-”..come out from among them..”

Speak the truth in love. Eph 4:15
Ah yes, lesbianism and the qur'an, just one big, happy family . . .
For now!
IMHO, TEC is beyond that point. There are faithful remnants left, but the libs own the brand now.
no wonder why I left that church with my family
it has gone to shambles, either there is one faith in the church or not but one church cannot decide what the faith thinks it is compared to another
the homos have been waging a war against religion for a long time and they have been getting in on the inside
they go to Church, get to know some people and then when they are friends with some of the church goers they tell them that they are homos but just want tobe left alone it is all a ploy to bring down religion
how many times have you heard someone say well I know some and they are nice, they want to be left alone bla bla
well go with them to their freak parades and see another side of these perverts
She also has classified abortion as “a blessing.”
Homosexual acts, like any other sin, does not preclude a believer from salvation.
Arguing that God is okay with homosexual acts, thus distorting the word of God, will.
I wish people would separate homosexuals from those who are pushing the gay agenda. One group are just fallen sinners no different from you or I, the latter is a whole different story.
It’s possible to express outrage at the latter without hating the former.
And this is one of the reasons I departed the Episcopal Church (in which I was raised and baptised) decades ago!!
They have charted a course I don’t choose to follow!!
“Man or Astroman? “
Filthy disease ridden queer
Of course. It’s one thing to welcome a homosexual to church with open arms (and I would). But it’s another to allow them to be a pastor.
Well said.
Amen! (so good even a Presbyterian yells Amen!)
And I've known some fine, Jesus loving Episcopalians.. my prayers go out to them.
We left the church too ... it is beyond the point of being irrelevant ... for my family, it simply doesn't exist.
Episcopal Church: Notre Dame writ large.
Jesus spoke of the end times as being “as in the days of Noah.” We are certainly in those days. I believe that most of us here know what time it is—there is a storm coming, and very soon. I plead that everyone prepares themselves, both spiritually and physically. Put on your armour from G-d. This woman will soon realize that she has rebelled from G-d, and hopefully she will repent and come back to Him. Woe to those who add to or take away from the Word of G-d. She has truly done that.
That is just it. Homosexual acts are a sin and it should always be condemned by all true Christian churches, as is adultery, etc.
If a homosexual isn’t acting on those destructive, nihilistic desires, then why would they describe themselves as a homosexual? I would think that it is more important and the information would be more accurate to describe oneself as a Christian, or lawyer, or numerous other adjectives that would be more suitable under the circumstances.
I do not want to be privy (nor do I want my children) to be forced to think about what people do in their private sexual lives or give my children the impression that homosexual behavior is normal and good when it is abnormal and destructive to societies. I thought “they” wanted the right to privacy!!!! It is like the opposite with the obscene parades, etc., even in the schools—with books to brainwash 4 year olds and indoctrinate them into the lifestyle.
it says female, but i'd bet she's got a Lickher License

I know of some other families who have done what we have done too.
It all starts with the bible...
Romans Chapter 1 24-29 should be Taught to the rector!
Romans isn’t in the Episcopal Bible, along with a number of other books that are also missing. /sarc
This goes beyond murdering the unborn ... they have commited murder upon the church itself. Churchicide?
“Ashirah”?
As in Asherah?
Yet another example of “infiltrate, then destroy from within.”
Benedict has set up barriers to these people being Roman Catholics. Where else do the poor dears go?
As in Asherah?
My tag line is a quote from the Bible in the orginal Hebrew. It's not my fault you don't understand it.
Have you learned to write the word Christian with no asterisk?
You are quite exactly the sort that the Apostle Paul warned of repeatedly.
In obedience to the Divine commandment against using the names of false "gxds." You will notice I also avoid spelling in full the names of the months and days of the week, since they come from false "gxds."
You are quite exactly the sort that the Apostle Paul warned of repeatedly.
Then I advise you to give me a wide berth.
As I understand it, "stalking" people is against the rules of Free Republic.
I don't bother you. I would appreciate it if you would return the favor.
Your objecting to a Biblical quotation is really too much.
