Father, be merciful to the United States of America I pray. There are many that have not turned their backs on You, or on what is right. Help us take the message of Redemption and Grace to the world in love and peace. Give us the courage to once again be great, and to stand against those, in our country and abroad, who would destroy what Abraham Lincoln called the last best hope of Earth. In Christ name, AMEN.

THe simplicity and brilliance and patriotism and steady hand of Reaganism has been rejected by the majority of the GOP. Unf***ing believable.
So, once again, we've elected Jimmy Carter, only updated and more dangerous. Unfortunately, I don't see Reagan waiting in the wings...

The thing about Reagan is that the deeper you dig, the more you come to love him. He isn’t an image, he was the real thing, and when someone scrapes for details they don’t find concealed negative insights and dark historical truths, instead they become awed.
