Retired Petty Officer Marcus Luttrell, winner of the Navy Cross for heroism in Afghanistan, says he doesn't sleep well at night.
So when the trained Navy Seal heard a gunshot go off near his ranch in Walker county Texas at 1:30 in the morning, he immediately sprang into action.
After first checking in on his mother, Luttrell made his way out to the tree line of his property. There he saw the headlights of a car with a handful of young men loudly joking, standing outside of it. "I could see my dog lying in the ditch," Luttrell said

I saw Lutrell on Beck’s show a couple days ago and when he mentioned the murderers taunted him, he said so matter of factly. Man’s best friend in this case is probably an understatement, I hope they find these a**holes and Lutrell gets another dog that he can form a bond with.
I hope they find a way to make those punks pay.

I saw the video as well. The gone was the lone survivor in the bloodiest SEAL firefight ever. These pukes taunting him is a joke. They would be begging for their whore mothers if they had to through that.
According to the version I heard one of the perps shouted “We know where you live.” Uh huh. You young fellers just go right on over there. If I could sell tickets to that little encounter on FR I’d be a rich man.
US Navy SEAL Luttrell showed admirable restraint and personal self control. I hope these thugs get the book thrown at them, hard, Texas-style.
Story said these punks were threatening to come back when they got out. I think they have no idea of the crapstorm they have gotten themselves into. Not just because of who he is, but also the number of other real bad a$$es that have his back as well. If smart, they will disappear somewhere far away.

Horribly sad story. Glenn Beck has been talking about this since last week and he played the 911 tape this morning on his radio program.
These dog-killing nuts should be grateful that Marcus restrained himself in their presence.
What kind of mind can kill a dog like this? I’m not so certain I could have restrained myself from retaliation, my hats off the loyalty of the Seals to preserve their dignity, what ever the situation they are faced with.

one of the dog killers is Hispanic, the other is Caucasian, for those who were asking.
As for them taunting Mr. Lutrell, I wish they would be so bold, and he probably does as well.
His twin brother is also a SEAL, still on AD. Maybe the Team CDR should decide it’s a good time to send some of the boys to the Ranch for some R&R. Just a thought...

Based on the interview I heard yesterday on Beck’s radio show, I think those thugs shoudl be thankful that he continues to show restraint and better hope that his Navy Seal friends also show similar restraint.

I think Dasy had more brains than these jerks combined. They probably wouldn’t last long against your avg. national guardsman, never mind SEALS, etc. Do they not realize that Luttrell could have a whole platoon from SF, Pararescue, Seals, etc. come to his house if these idiots wanted to show up. Ask a bunch of regular vets, he could probably have a whole battalion. (not that it would be needed; he could probably kick the three of their butts alone).

I have a friend who was a stationed intell officer. Some SEALS came up to him and wanted to take a guy in his barracks out drinking. He said to them “ you know the security fences are live after midnight and you will not be able to get him back in till morning. Well in the morning here is their guy, in his bunk, undressed drunk as a skunk and no one heard a thing and nothing was cut. They are amazing
