The election of President Barack Obama was supposed to usher in a post-racial and post-partisan America. But who knew that some Massachusetts Democrats dreamed of a post-American America?
Rep. Pam Richardson of Framingham wants the Massachusetts Democratic Party to advocate voting rights for illegal aliens.
You read that right. A handful of liberal Massachusetts towns already allow legal resident aliens to vote in local elections. But Richardson wants illegal immigrants canceling out your vote for school committee and town selectman.
And she wants the state Democratic Party to lead the way.
Last month, at a local party platform meeting in Framingham, Richardson looked into a video camera and bemoaned the unfairness of the crimmigrants’ plight:
“We have a large population of people living here who don’t have the same rights and opportunities of the rest of us,” she complained. “I’m talking about undocumented immigrants.”
Most “unfair,” she argues, is their exclusion from our democratic process.
“They don’t feel that they have anyone to represent them [in government]. It’s because they’re not part of the democracy,” Richardson told fellow Democrats.
You’re right, Rep. Richardson. Illegal immigrants are not part of the Massachusetts voting population. Nor are felons, children, legal residents of other states or the criminally insane.

Welcome to the world of Democrat immigration reform!
Why not just have illegals as the only group that can legally vote. Also, make illegals the only folks eligible for office too. What better group to vote and govern - complete “impartiality” and “objectivity”. No more partisanship bickering. Instead of partisanship, just illegalalienship.

How about letting people who live out of state, but work in Mass. vote.

This was done, 'out of necessity', as a good percentage of local school 'districts' didn't have ANY US CITIZENS with school age children to serve on these local boards.

My point was that I’ve had someone tell me that, since our side lost the election, that our only option is to work hard for the next election.

Here’s a bit of insight on Ms Richardson. Her voting district is centered upon Framingham MA [west of Boston], which happens to have a very large Brazilian immigrant community, many of whom are illegal aliens.

We are well on the way to becoming a bipolar country: a minor contingent composed of working citizen taxpayers on one side, and on the other a majority of non-taxpayers who have no definable interest in US citizenship, or who are in fact not citizens at all.
I need not point out the perils inherent in such a division. Except perhaps to liberals, who have a history of missing the point in these matters.

MANY churches are pandering to illegal aliens. the Catholic church with their support of ACORN, La Raza, Maldef. Protestant denominations are almost as bad and in soime cases worse. Many evangelicals are becoming Obama loving phonies like Rick Warren.

I’m calling to tell her we need illegals in government and she needs to resign so the job can be given to an illegal. This way it helps so many people.
The FEC ought to resign. They do nothing to prevent vote fraud or prosecute those who engage in criminal and unconstitutional conspiracy to steal elections.
