The massive database of 13 million campaign supporters that helped fuel Barack Obama’s run to the White House is again being tapped by Democratic party operatives to create a private political-action army in support of the new president’s massive $3.5 trillion budget proposal.
The efforts blur the line between candidate and president, something Democrats complained vociferously about when George W. Bush hired Karl Rove to handle political affairs in the White House in 2001. Those same critics have gone silent about Obama's perpetual campaigning.
E-mail invitations are even being sent to the same cadre of fake names and questionable contributors that ran the Obama campaign afoul of Federal Election Commission auditors last year.
Memos to recipients with names such as Bart Simpson, Daffy Duck and Saddam Hussein are going out by the thousands, along with the millions of entreaties to legitimate Obama supporters. All are being asked to join the President’s political organization and keep the pressure on Congress to pass the sweeping agenda of the Obama White House.

With about 50% of the American people paying no income taxes and the Obama stimulus package pumping huge amounts of money into the economy, there will be an temporary uptick during Obama’s first term. The real impact of his profligate spending won’t be felt until well into his second term. Obama the populist will get the votes. And don’t forget the GOP’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I disagree. Barry Barack Judas Hussain Iscariot Soetoro Obama will do more harm even in the short term by killing jobs than the wasteful spending can balance out. The socialist will get the blame, even if he tries to claim that the fault was in not going socialist fast enough or wastefully enough. He’ll be out in four years ... easily ... unless as you said the GOP demonstrates its talent for shatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I don't share you same confidence that the American people will see through this charlatan any more than they did Bill Clinton. Unless there is a major personal disclosure about Obama, he will be a two term President. His personal approval ratings still remain strong and he is the Teflon president when it comes to the MSM coverage. After all, he inherited this mess from the evil and stupid George Bush.
