My husband and I used to get a kick out of watching Letterman and actually preferred him over Leno. But when Letterman was such a jerk with O’Reilly over Cindy Sheehan ... we swore we would never watch Letterman again - and we haven’t!
Too bad he wasn't funny in the 70's.
Nightline has dumbed down their content quite a bit, and now leans heavily toward “feature” and celebrity type programming. Looks like it’s working for them.
TV must really suck if you only have Nightline or letterman to chose to watch.
heehee!

Letterman always looks like he just swallowed a glass of battery acid. What a miserable guy
I used to watch Letterman, also. He used to be funny often enough to be worth checking out the monologue and first guest. In recent years he has really gone downhill, and he has become a pathetic sycophant for the left, politically. Jay Leno has my vote now.
He’s a bitter hack that wishes he could be twice as young as, and ten times the leftist shill Jon Stewart is.
Late night television hasn’t been the same for me since......

If Letterman isn’t obnoxious enough Paul Schaffer WILL SEND YOU OVER THE EDGE.
Letterman is a has-been. He should retire.
a few months ago there was a week when Leno reruns beat 1st run Letterman show. Now THAT is FAIL.
