The reasons laid out in this piece make sense. With the machine count down to just - 13 Jim has a great chance. This will be a big boost, let’s pray he does it.
I heard Tedisco was only down 25 votes, due to a miscommunication the night of the election.
It’s actually down to 13, Politico confirms it: http://www.politico.com/blogs/scorecard/0409/Murphys_lead_shrinks_to_25_votes.html
“...steal this election just like they did with Franken..”
Is the MN Senate race over? I saw Franken got a favorable court decision, but didn’t hear details. Is that it? It’s over ?
***UPDATE***
Jim Tedisco now LEADS Scott Murphy by 12 votes!!!

Pray for Tedesco to win.
When did it happen that all ballots are not counted? We hear about this happening time after time. It is a travesty. The system needs a complete overhaul. No results should be made untill ALL are counted. Period. I will no longer vote absentee because of this fraud.
Wow, thank you for that!
Tedisco AHEAD!!!!
Basically, the NY-20 is 3% more Republican than the nation as a whole. That made it a 51% Bush CD in 2000, a 54% Bush CD in 2004, and a 49% McCain CD in 2008.
Didn’t Obama get more votes in the 20th district? If so, there must be a lot of RINO voters there.
good. let’s see that lead grow!
“Basically, the NY-20 is 3% more Republican than the nation as a whole.”
Good way to put it. The election is somewhat better than Nov, but not by much.
Simple: Dems and ACORN. :(
Yes, Obama got more votes than McCain in the NY-20. I think that McCain got 49% (with 50% for Obama), which is 3% more Republican than the 46% that McCain got nationwide.
Demholes will steal it. Any day now, they will miraculously find a box of uncounted ballots under a desk in some courthouse. It will have a few hundred votes! 85% will be for Murphy. That’ll be some coincidence now, wouldn’t it?
Why don`t we start finding ballots?Fight fire with fire!
i’ve been doing grass-roots work in NY#20 for the past 8 weeks.
I am certain that Obama had a 5% margin over McCain in Nov.
Turnout was sort of expected to be 120,000 on March 31 and it ended up at 155,000. Extraordinary for a special election. The district was saturated with bodies and $$$.
Tedisco voters turned out big as a backlash against Obama.
Murphy voters turned out big because the “stimulus money” was flowing into the grassroots (100’s of folks with clipboards). AFL-CIO had paid people on the ground all weekend, everywhere. ACORN ... college kids ... they were everywhere. All the little hamlets.
The DEMS seem to be betting that by working the grassroots to death in 2010 (using federal funds, pay-to-play), they can more than make-up for any backlash from the GOP vote.
Y’all know that turnout is much lower for mid-terms. Obama is betting he can bring out a much higher than normal turnout in 2010 vs. 2006, 2002, etc.
And we CANNOT match them on the ground if our base is not galvanized. Also, the heathcare issue is killing the GOP with unaffiliated voters. We are not at their doorstep discussing the alternatives to single-payer.
