I hope this is true. GM and Chrysler got exactly what they wanted when they demanded welfare. Now they have to live with the consequences of it all.

0bama needs to get his hands out of GM and Chrysler. Those firms need to give back the tax dollars if they have any hope of short-term and even long-term survival.
Run the businesses like car companies providing products demanded by customers, not demanded by government that nobody wants.

This might be an April Fool’s joke, but it won’t be so funny when we’re watching Obama’s clown cars going around the track at Daytona and awarding the checkered flag to the one with the best mpg - not the first one over the finish line.
All the races except maybe Daytona (tri-oval) are run on his last initial.

Sorry, I don’t think it’s a joke. It was in yesteday’s Car and Driver. Bambi apparently claimed that this constituted an improper use of money for promotion or advertising. It’s actually just a way to get back at NASCAR fans (who in general are not Bambi fans).
Of course I meant no threat to our benevolent government leadership...

April Fools for the whole world started on January 20th.
Think about it. Carmakers do not directly involve themselves in auto racing. Private teams buy the cars and race them. If they do well, the carmaker gets some reflected glory, and (hopefully) a boost in sales.

You’re so right! DUers are making use of each and every post here that uses subtle or not references such as that to make reports to the FBI and Secret Service. Believe it or not some of them have nothing better to do (well, they don’t have jobs) than monitor FR and other conservative sites. Their hatred is boundless.
