OBAMA'S MUSLIM OUTREACH
ISRAPUNDIT ^ | March 31/09 | Ted Belman

One year ago I wrote about Obama’s Muslim connection. No matter how strong this connection was, the main stream media and ultimately Jewish Americans ignored it.

“The person who made me proudest of all,” Obama wrote, “was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”

On February 27th, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth.”

Although Obama played he Christian card while campaigning, he is playing the Muslim card now in such a blatant fashion that even I am astounded.

Here is his record to date after inaugeration,

- Obama's first call was to Mahmoud Abbas who is not even a head of state. Obama was delivering a message to Israel and the world.

- Obama's first interview, within days of inaugeration, was with the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya Networks In it her stressed his own Muslim ties and his hopes for a Palestinian state. His message was "U.S. not your enemy”

“And as I said during my inauguration speech, if countries like Iran are willing to unclench their fist, they will find an extended hand from us,”

- on Febuary 10th, Obama ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.

- In February, he pledged to provide $900 million in aid for rebuilding the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip

- On March 19th Obama delivered to customary speech to the Iranian people on their New Year but sold them out by referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran which amounted to an acceptance of the regime.

The majority of American Jews voted for a guy who is owned by Hamas and is a Muslim. Ask any person at a high level in Africa and they will tell you he is.

Liberal American Jews would vote for Arafat’s corpse if he had a D after his name.

Israelis were 3 to 1 for Juan Mccain.

What’s new?

Jews have been voting for the people (DimoRATS) that hate them for years.

At least the Israelis finally wised up and re-elected Netanyahu.

Just shows Israelis are smarter than 54% of Americans.

Nobody can be smart about guessing what happens “next.” We just don’t know the future. While lots of people confuse their “wishful thinking” into projections ... where they “know,” especially if it’s talking about politics.

Can Obama be as hung up as Jimmy Carter? Why? Where’s his gains?

I think Obama purposely kept going on Dubya’s “road” because he doesn’t want to get blamed for “change.” And, the stuff that making lots of Jews nervous? Well, there ya go. Another democratic outsider can come in. And, be just like Jimmy Carter.

Did Jimmy carter want to be re-elected? You bet!

Do you think Obama also would like to be re-elected? Again, it’s pretty safe to assume so.

And, what can Obama do to help himself? (He can be aware, for instance, that the GOP won’t field anyone popular enough to take him down.)

However, by now, there are enough people who have gotten nervous. And, this could spell trouble to Obama, if it means HE LOSES FLORIDA at the next go-round.

Israel unilaterally pulled out of Lebanon. Because Syria wasn’t willing to have peace. But Israelis were tired of losing IDF soldiers; and in 1999 Ehud Barak pulled the plug on Lebanon. He’s back in government. And, so is Bibi Netanyahu. (Israel has elected new leadership.)

And, we still have troops in Irak. And, Afghanistan. And, UNEMPLOYMENT running high. So how do you pull our troops home?

It’s a complex problem. And, if there’s anything to learn from Dubya, it’s how by the time he exited, the Bush legacy had hit the skids.
