The journalistic legacy of Walter Duranty, Herbert Matthews and Jayson Blair is alive and well at the New York Times:
A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign because it would have been a "a game changer."

These type of newspapers deserve to go out of business.
However, no Republican lawmaker/leader will do anything at all, and another Democrat scandal will go unpunished.
Barack IS Jayson Blair
This nonsense really goes on just as long as We the People continue to allow it...
It doesn't matter, half the freepers concluded that Obama would be good for getting a true conservative in '12. We shall see the outcome of that.
What absolute fungi.
Ugh.
.
No shock here. Think of the recent LA Times video of Obambi at luncheon for terrorists.
Exactly! Good point. The evidence piles up.
But, but, but....the media is run by Conservatives and NEVER is fair to the left!!!! /filet o’ sarcasm...
Sooooo - what the hell are we going to do about it?
Well, duh. Of course they did. Who is surprised? Anyone?
And what response did he get from our esteemed congresscritters ?

Benjamin Franklin: “A Republic, ma’am, if you can keep it.”
Ethics is obsolete .. our Founding Fathers must weep.
This is where any investigation should go. The cry should be "Remember Watergate! What did BO know about ACORN and his campaign and when did he know it?" We could say things like, "Nixon had his Plumbers unit, BO has the NYT!"
Apparently the Senate didn’t get a briefing on that committee testimony.

I wonder what the Judiciary subcommittee had to say?
You’re killing me.
I thought I was the sane guy who didn’t believe in conspiracy theories.
For example, why did the market happen to crash after the ACORN shakedown of lenders forcing them to loan money under the CRA just coincedentally happen to occur 2 months before the possible election of a 5th column socialist named Hussein?
I hate conspiracy theories. I’m not a loon. This whole thing has made me angry and caused me to question everything.
After the NWO is in place, do we conservatives become the progressives?
mainstream media still covering for obozo by playing its lapdog role.
I wonder what the Judiciary subcommittee had to say?
Crickets chirping...
Whoever put up the title “Infreakingcredible!” shouldn’t be so shocked. You had to brain dead not to know that ACORN was involved all kinds of illegal and fraudulent schemes on behalf of the Obama campaign. Even the magnanimous loser, John McCain, brought up ACORN during one of the presidential debates.
Sensenbrenner is attacking the NYT over this but he needs more help.
How can one help?
Inside Obamas Acorn
By their fruits ye shall know them.
By Stanley Kurtz
What if Barack Obamas most important radical connection has been hiding in plain sight all along? Obama has had an intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn), the largest radical group in America. If I told you Obama had close ties with MoveOn.org or Code Pink, youd know what I was talking about. Acorn is at least as radical as these better-known groups, arguably more so. Yet because Acorn works locally, in carefully selected urban areas, its national profile is lower. Acorn likes it that way. And so, Id wager, does Barack Obama.

>I thought I was the sane guy who didnt believe in conspiracy theories. I hate conspiracy theories.<
So do I.
>This whole thing has made me angry and caused me to question everything.<
Questioning everything does not put a person in the same slot as a 9/11 truther.
I know people who are almost 100 years old that question everything.
To me, it means they think for themselves and probably has a lot to do with their longevity.
If nobody questioned anything, how would we find any truth?
Bookmark for reading Stanley Kurtz.
Ya hit the nail on the head.
Quislings all. May I live to see their shaved heads paraded through the streets - a humiliation they have richly earned.
Kurtz put in many hours researching this and was sooo... close.
It doesn’t matter, half the freepers concluded that Obama would be good for getting a true conservative in ‘12. We shall see the outcome of that.

Don’t include me in that half of FReepers. I don’t think he has any intentions of ever leaving that White House.... EVER!!! Oligarchy is his goal.

Are we not running out of options?
Do what I do whenever you receive a mailing axing you to subscribe to the Slimes. Remove all traces of your name and address and bar codes. Then tell them “Go to hell you treasonous bastards” or something to that extent. Then place it in an envelope along with a bunch of pennies, or pieces of lead (like the adhesive lead strips that you put on golf clubs), and put it into their postage paid envelope. Send it back and smile.
Thanks. That’s why I love FR.
I know that I am rational and sane. Maybe the “conspiracy” is that there is no conspiracy. Maybe people really are so stupid they would vote for a 5th column marxist like Hussein Osama.
Nothing sinister. Just stupid fellow citizens looking for Gubmint to take care of them from the womb to the tomb.
Yes. *IF* the Republic survives until then!
At the rate these Marxist bastards are going, we are on a greased up fast track to hell!
marked to read later
There is no limit to the depths the New York Slimes can sink. A plague on their house.
?
There's something surprising about this?
The same Stanley Kurtz - no conservative “lapdog” - whose Chicago radio interviews were all but spiked by Team Obama.
not a surprise at all.
He looks like a pimp in that picture.
Yet because Acorn works locally, in carefully selected urban areas, its national profile is lower. Acorn likes it that way. And so, Id wager, does Barack Obama.
If anyone had paid the slightest bit of attention to the last two Presidential elections before 2008, and the Congressional races in between, that one would not be the slightest bit surprised or in the dark about ACORN.
ACORN was a political arm of the 0 campaign. They’ve routinely worked to elect democrats, and do it illegally in most cases. I can’t imagine how one could be surprised about that. Even with the media’s help in democrat coverup, we still hear the stories each election of ACORN trying to buy votes, push people to vote multiple times, etc.
no, he looks like a wanna be.
LOL!
The story is the depth of the Obama campaign link to ACORN.
