Looking at the pic of Obama on Drudge, is that a VW logo behind him? Little subliminal stuff going on?

I wonder what the source of the image is (German visit, etc) or if Drudge is trying to send a subliminal message about the origin of the "People's Car".

..another intersting parallel is that Hitler put a union organizer, Erwin Komenda, in charge of VW’s structuring efforts. Today, Obama named a former union organizer, Ed Montgomery, to head the auto restructuring project. One of the stated objectives in the creation of VW was to improve fuel efficiency for the betterment of the State, over other popular models in Germany at the time, like the Tatra.
It’s actually fitting though. The Volks Wagon (People’s Wagon) was designed by Hitler’s government. Now with Obama being the defacto CEO of GM it’s pretty much the same thing. As Drudge says: GM = Government Motors

Anyone want to start betting on how long it takes for Obama to declare GM a new company run by the United Auto Workers that has a parallel to the “People’s Car”.. maybe an entire marketing campaign.. something on the lines of “Save five bucks a week, if you want to drive your our car”...

VW car was designed by Dr. Porsche. Porsche really founded VW and lost it post war. Porsche is owned by the Porsche family and Piech family.
Recently, Porsche started buying up VW shares to buyout VW. NY and international hedge funds decided to short VW because they thought the deal would not go through. The hedge funds were screwing around with Porsche.
Well the hedgies did not know the CFO of Porsche was a Herr Doctor like most German execs and had run the Stuttgart options exchange. Porsche had been buying up options contracts for the VW stock very quietly. Porsche’s CEO at the Paris Auto show said their ownership had gone from a majority to like 70% or something.
This caused a short squeeze panic and VW stock went up by 8 times in one day. The hedge funds could not find stock to cover their short positions. The hedge funds lost about $8 billion in a day and were screaming. Porsche did everything by the book and by German laws. The hedge funds had failed to understand the German law.

Maybe he'll name the new company the Hope Car.. or the Hopemobile. I do find it interesting in all the parallels I've discussed, that the two areas both saw as vital in the nation's economy to take control where banking and autos. Now you have Pelosi moving in on the media.
