Embryos aren't fertilized? (Not according to Bill Clinton)
American Thinker ^ | March 30, 2009 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 03/30/2009 10:36:49 AM PDT by neverdem

Democrats have spent years congratulating themselves on being smarter than conservatives. You can expect the media therefore to ignore appallingly stupid gaffes on the part of Ivy-educated leaders. Hillary's "smart power" diplomacy  is looking oxymoronic in the wake of her stupid question about who painted the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe on a visit to Mexico. The image, a miraculous apparition, is central to Mexican culture. Her host politely responded, "God" to her question.

Now her husband Bill has revealed incredible ignorance of basic biology. In this CNN interview, he stoutly maintains the embryos are not fertilized.

George W. Bush grows in stature day by day, while his critics are exposed as intellectual pretenders.

It is time to mock these people openly and frequently.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how to link videos when they are written into the source code as in this example. I'm afraid you have to go to the source.

Well, he would know. He certainly has had a lot of practice with attempted fertilization.

Unfertilized embryos are called eggs. There are not too many stell cells in the eggs.

Someone ask Bill if he likes the idea of using zygotes. These are even less fertilized. Or are they, bill?

“In this CNN interview, he stoutly maintains the embryos are not fertilized.”

Oh, my. So, just how did this man get through high school without a basic biology course, or a Rhodes Scholarship without a basic science course? Sometimes, I think it’s better we don’t know what we’re dealing with until AFTER it’s over. Half of us would have keeled over from a heart attack if we had been totally aware.

Going to my happy place, now. La,la,la...happy, happy....

Well, there are those of us who strongly suspect that Slick had nothing to do with fertilizing the embryo that became Chelsea because: (1) he told Juanita Broderick he was sterile after he raped her and (2) Chelsea strongly resembles Webster Hubbell, Hitlary’s first law partner.

“He certainly has had a lot of practice with attempted fertilization.”

Actually, doing what he prefers has no potential of fertilizing an egg.

The CNN reporter probably thought Billy was correct. After all, Slick is a scholar.

I really no longer believe liberal type scholars are anything other then political animals only.

Their knowledge is so limited.

And doesn’t it depend on what the meaning of the word “aren’t” is?

Perhaps this is a common belief among the liberal pro-abortion crowd. Perhaps they believe the embryos are not life/babies/human because they are just eggs that grew larger. I know it is stupid, but Bill cannot be the only stupid one out there. He might just have revealed the common thinking that allows these people to destroy embryos without a thought of it being murder. To them it might be no different than cracking an egg for breakfast. OMG, what fools we have in this world today thanks to our “educated” leaders and teachers.

Gupta did not even give the prick a heads up so as not to allow him show he is as ill-informed as he is. This was the smartest guy in world, so the MSM told us. Mr.Clinton made life and death decisions with this level of ignorance. Obama, no doubt, is doing the same.

Gupta is a board certified neurosurgeon. He knows Clinton showed himself to be a joke. I cannot beleive the producers allowed this to go to air. This only confirms Mr.Clinton is simply a dumbass....or even more accurately... a primo bullshitter. That is how he and Obama made it to the oval office....pumping pure bs.

This is the same guy who didn’t think oral sex was sex. The same guy who told women he became sterile as a child following the mumps then had (supposedly) Chelsea with ‘she who should not be named’. This is the same guy who used pot but never inhaled. In order words, he is a smart as a bag of hammers.

Several times I have come within a hair of assaulting people who told me how stupid President Bush was, amazingly none of them seem to realize that George W. Bush, whatever his failings has more brains and knowledge than both Clintons, both Obamas and Joe Biden thrown in for good measure and even at that I feel as though I am damning Mr. Bush with faint praise! I won't even mention AlGore, his IQ would appear to be a negative number if that is possible.

I only copied the source code after the text. My guess is that it's like a relative link error - this time with embedded videos.

I think the FR server stripped the tag out entirely. Looking at the source code for the page, I don't see an <object> tag (except for the one you posted with the "< " modification). There doesn't appear to be an issue with relative links in the code you posted. All the URLs you show are absolute.

I believe the FR server is set up specifically to allow only a limited subset of HTML. This is so that it can "reset" the page after each post without having to understand the whole of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In the early days (before about 2001), it didn't do this so well, so that, if a poster forgot to close a boldface or font size or color or what not, the effect would persist into subsequent posts, until a subsequent poster reset it accidentally or on purpose. The server now strips out what it can't understand and makes sure that what it does understand is properly closed before going on to the next post.

For example, you used to be able to simulate a yellow highlighter by using a <span> tag with a style parameter:

<span style="background-color:#ffff00">this is series</span>

That now gets stripped out, so you have to use boldface, underline, or alternate text color to highlight a section.

BTW, you can insert a left angle-bracket by typing &lt;. That notation gets converted to < when the HTML is rendered. Google HTML entities for the full list of such codes. Strictly speaking, you are also supposed to use &gt; for the right angle-bracket, but you can skip that if you are lazy.
