Mine in two and a half hours. Non stop marathon movies will be playing on the big plasma/sound system even while I am on the computer in a different room. Lights on upstairs , downstairs, front yard, back yard, garage, driveway etc. I also need to do a few loads of laundry but that can wait till 9. Heck, gas being where it is I might even let the car idle for a half hour with the headlights on.
I think we should all burn manure in our yards at 8:30 PM. Burning Algore in effigy.
even have the riding lawn mower on...Has little head lights.
My outside lights are on, watching the snow/rain we are getting in SE Wisconsin
btt
Reminds me of Atlas Shrugged where the government forced skyscrapers to shut their lights off on the upper stories to save energy.
Not only are my lights all on but my son and his friends have a big barn fire going as well.
Instead of celebrating America we are supposed to cower in the dark?
Atlas Shrugged is right.
Hey midwest give us a report when it’s your turn
“Thanks, wished I put the Christmas lights.”
AW man....NOW you mention it...DAMN
Yes, and Atlas Shrugged is happening now. San Francisco legislation is proposing themandating that skyscrapers turn off all nonemergency lights at night as a way to save energy.

I’ve got every light in the place on, I even got the Christmas lights back out and hung them around the front of the house, and I turned on the back flood lights to boot.
Screw Earth Hour, and screw the U.N. too.
Turned on so much I blew my 200 amp mains circuit breaker
Heartbreaking to see what has happened to this once great country. The beacon of hope for the rest of the world.
Inventions that make life better for everyone on earth, and now we’ve come to this.
I think I’ll go downstairs and see if our building has turned off the front lights.

Good thing the drivers are not turning off their head lights. LOL
all lights inside and out have been on...don’t see many houses with lights out...hard to tell if they’re home or not.
Our lights, which are many, inside and out, have been on awhile and will remain so for a good while longer. We are rural and with the weather today there have only been a few cars go by so I have to catch what I can. Neighbors are a distance away as well. We have had rain, snow, sleet, small hail, snow again with a repeat of the rest and it has been doing this since dawn. Strangest weather ever. Anyway, even if our lights aren’t seen we are in solidarity with the rest of you.
You did good! :^)
Were I to run the oven (4 KW), the A/C (3.5 KW), and the two space heaters (3 KW), I could basically double my demand. Not to mention the vacuums, the air compressor, and about 5000 watts worth of power tools. :)
I took a quick look down the street - it appears that most of my neighbors are not participating in this silly exercise in futility.
