Two Jewish groups have denounced a Pat Oliphant political cartoon on Gaza as anti-Semitic, likening its fanged Star of David to Nazi imagery before the Holocaust.
The syndicated cartoon published Wednesday in newspapers across the country depicts a goose-stepping uniformed figure wheeling the Jewish symbol as it menaces a small female figure labeled "Gaza."
The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Jewish rights group with more than 400,000 members in the United States, said the cartoon is meant to denigrate and demonize Israel.

Is this not obvious to everyone. The sad part is that so many "liberals" know that and don't mind at all.

That cartoon you posted is absolute proof that all charges of racism are nothing more than a political battering ram. A lefty gets away with racially insensitive behavior while conservatives have to fight the false charges.

hmm that really is like Israel: they have all this military capability but they never use it to actually wipe out Hamas once and for all. They limit themselves in some way.

Disgusting, in light of the thousands of bombings by the terrorists in Gaza who hide under behind women and children. Still advocate that the surrounding islamic countries resettle the palis onto their lands and provide for them. Just think of all that vacant desert land that no one is using. Think of all the oil monies that each islamic country could chip in and make a city in that desert just for the palis.
They limit themselves in some way.

The so-called "palestinians" are despised by the arabs and muslims, just a shade less than the Jews. Every place they've gone, they've brought nothing but disaster with them. Take note of Lebanon, back before Syria took over. In the days of their civil war. And do a google search on "Black September." The terrorist group was named after the events. It was when the palis tried to overthrow the government in Jordan, and the Jordanian military slaughtered well over 20,000 palis.
The reason for the "plight" of the palis is a simple one. They've been kept and "bred" as cannon fodder to fight the Jews and Israelis. Seriously, take a look at the history, and you'll see that's the main reason for their situation.

Oliphant loves his Nazi imagery. His first national splash came when he depicted then Vice President Spiro Agnew as an SS Officer.

Ever since then, Oliphant has had a love affair with Nazis, in his bilious, burning hate against those he despises. Like Ted Rall or Keith Olbermann, they fantasize about the methods of the Nazis, dreaming of torture and murder of individuals or peoples. Likewise, they feel no stress or remorse for their hate, having so dehumanized their enemies that in their minds, their lives are disposable.
The Catholic church describes such people as being soul-dead, their souls already in Hell, though their amoral bodies continue to live and act without conscience.
