WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama takes his first stab Wednesday night at the role of fundraiser in chief.
The president is the main attraction at two events in the nation's capital for the Democratic National Committee, making for the first fundraising test for Obama since he took over the presidency two months ago.

By now Bush - and even Clinton, for crying out loud - would have been in contact with North Dakota to offer help, make plans to fly over and/or stop at the affected areas and let the people and press know they are concerned.
Has anyone heard Obama make any mention of this? I'm afraid when he ever does, it will be to take the opportunity to create some trillion dollar stimulus package for the sandbag industry.
