Here is a picture of Frances Quinn Hunter, whose last name should be Edwards, according to sources. It’s from her first birthday, on Feb. 27, just one week ago. With her is her mother, Rielle Hunter, the filmmaker and ex-lover of former Sen. John Edwards.
Edwards has admitted the affair, but denied that the baby is his. There is no father’s name on Frances Quinn’s birth certificate.

Edwards is one of the most despicable and reprehensible politicians ever. He has no peer in that regard. No, strike that. There’s Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Frank, monumental frauds, all.

Look, I understand Elizabeth’s situation. If she had divorced him, there would have been time away from her children when he got his turn at custody. He may have also threatened her with getting full custody, since he is a pretty powerful guy. Her time is quite limited and she wants to spend every waking moment with her little ones. So she has to put up with this.
I hope she, too, remains classy about it. Indeed, her husband is a heartless [insert any pejorative for the male anatomy here], and she certainly did have to recover from his thoughtless selfishness and lies while in treatment for terminal cancer. Her book might well be helpful for a lot of people overcoming adversity that seems pretty bad.
And Mr. Edwards owes support and fatherhood to this love child as well as to his own children from within the marriage.
And what the HECK is this lying sack telling people at his speech engagements? How to get the most out of the holidays? Why a man should carry two cell phones? Why stalls at hotel bathrooms should come with panic buttons?

I have sympathy for Elizabeth but I have no respect for her. She knew about him cheating on her during the campaign. That is dishonest.

If Mama doesn’t use the little (girl, I think?) as a publicity tool, then I’m sure she will. Most people aren’t spending much time worrying about John Edwards now.

She surely must have suspected, but we don't know when she found out. However, she must have been a little DISTRACTED once she began taking chemo again for the cancer that had returned. Probably when she magnanimously told him to go on with the campaign, she did not yet know.
She was over a barrel. I don't agree with her politics but when you have terminal cancer and your husband's got all that power, you do what you have to do. She wanted to be with her children. And if he could lie so easily in our faces (and the faces of jurors), imagine what he could do to her.
