I personally like Sarah but I don’t want to have the next Republican contender against Obama lose, no matter who it is. There’s too much on the line. Sarah has taken a big portion of the porkulus money for her state. A true CONSERVATIVE would NOT have done that.

What is more important to YOU? Conservatism or one politician?

Here is an analogy... your city offers you a porkulus package to fix up your own personal property, and you refuse it.. however, there is a city owned telephone pole on your land. You can’t refuse the city using the porkulus to fix that telephone pole, even though it is on your property because the city owns the pole. The city using the pork to fix the pole they own is not you being guilty for accepting the pork..

Look, without getting into a theological dispute that might further divide us, you AGAIN are concentrating on “buzz word” phrases that few Christian Conservatives would use, in political debates -— the phrases you use would seem to be the types of things that the Democrat Underground and Daily Kos would ACCUSE Christian Conservative of saying.

I guess we just disagree on the question of interacting with non-Christians at different levels. As to the stimulus money, well, Sarah’s road ahead is going to be filled with a whole lot more land mines. Our prayers need to be for her to have wisdom from God to appropriately respond along the way. And, as much as I would love to see Sarah become president, I also realize the simple fact that with the current condition of the heart and soul of our nation that simply may not be possible.

Not taking the money is unilateral disarmament. Money she doesn’t take goes to someone else. Being sure you have not incurred unfunded liabilities is responsible. I’m on her side in this one.
