EDITORIAL: ACORN to count heads for Census

First it was President Obama trying to break all precedent and run the 2010 census from within the White House. While the administration finally backed down from that politicization of the census, it clearly hasn't learned its lesson. Now it is having ACORN officially "partner" with the Census to help count the number of Americans in the country. It's like Santa trusting a child to tell him how many times he or she has been good in the past year.

We could write a book on the false voter registrations submitted by ACORN. There are bizarre stories, such as one from Cleveland, where ACORN employees reregistered the same individual 77 times, even though the individual kept on telling the ACORN workers that he was already registered. But ACORN's people kept offering to bribe him with cigarettes or money to get him to fill out another form. Similar examples from across the United States are too numerous to count.

King County (Seattle) election officials were forced to remove 1,762 voter registrations submitted by one group of ACORN employees. Five employees were sentenced to jail. The Delaware County Times noted that out of 2,000 fraudulent voter registration forms in that Pennsylvania county, nearly every single one was filed by ACORN. Chicago had 10,000 false registrations. Criminal indictments and convictions have been leveled in numerous states.

Ii bought the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday for the first time in years. Not for myself, but for my Dad - who likes to read newspapers and is a Democrat.

On page C-1 (Business), the headline was Obama Plan Popular - A Survey Shows Servicers Set to Join Obama Effort.

An Inquirer staff writer named Jeff Gelles wrote this:

"Mortgage services who handle more than three-forths of the nation's home loans intend to participate in Obama's mortgage-modification program, according to a survey by the nonprofit group Acorn.

This is what passes for "news" by Liberal Communists like the guy who wrote this.

Non-profit group. They are trying to paint the corrupt and evil Acorn organization as akin to "Save the Puppies."

Acorn had a hand in this mortgage meltdown. They have stolen thousands, if not millions, of votes. They were raided by the FBI in numerous cities last fall for election fraud - and all of that has been squashed by the current Obama crime syndicate. Their lobbyists have had Billions inserted into the "stimulus" bill of our money to fund their illegal activities.

Sure there are a few investigations now, and a few people in jail - but thats what Risk Assesment is all about.

Just think... Obama, president for life. It could happen if he has enough supporters in all of the areas that matter. I mean, who cares about the Constitution anyway, it's just a 200 year old piece of paper. my cousin applied for a job @CB, took the test,passed, etc...
she’s more or less retired from her old job now but still needs work to keep things going. I ran across this info on ACORN being one of 17 contractors for the Census. I gave her fair warning and had to re-edumicate the dear about ACORN.
I hope she finds something other than the CB please keep her in your prayers. She’s the dearest to me and needs a job to pay the day-to-day. Thanks!

I swear that is the plan. Hr 1388 passed yesterday,,the GIVE bill, the brownshirts you know. You ought to google and read the details,,that is where the devil is.

Don't know if he will be pres for life. But, he and the Dem Leadership are gaming the system so that they will never loose another election. Look at Pelosi out there in California reeling in the illegal vote. Then, there's the Freedom of Information Act - aimed at increasing union membership by passing the Employee Free Choice Act which will allow voters decisions to be known by the union. Then, let's not forget Acorn; these riggers of corruption and fixed elections. What's even worse is that the Dem’s are in the process of strengthening these corrupt practices while the Republicans walk around in a circle with their thumbs stuck up their @$$’$...

Not just about this one point, but about every point that concerns you.

Show up at one of the upcomming TEA party rallies if you can.

Is there any shame, any embaressment, anything? It’s so blatant. To use a politically biased organization with known voter fraud to work on our census tells me that ethical lines have been erased and there is no concern on who knows it.

The problem is that most people don’t have a clue on how Acorn operates, what they have done, and how this will effect their future. So, if the news media runs a story about Acorn and the Census, they will probably skim over it and think nothing of it.

In my late teens I hired on as a census taker to make some extra money.

Let me tell you, the opportunities for fraud by each census taker are endless. They are BEYOND endless!

But in those days, no one ever thought of being a fraudulent census-taker because nothing much was riding on population counts, certainly not as it is today.

Besides being an open and certain invitation to fraud, the awarding of a contract to Acorn to partner with the Census Bureau is a massive monetary payback and payoff to the radical Acorn activists for their past and present (and future) assistance to Obama and the national Democrat mafia now in charge of our lives.

That is exactly why Obama wants written into legislation, ACORN involvement in the upcomming Census now, (while we still do not need a wheelbarrel full of money to buy a loaf of bread). He also wants his CillyVillan brownshirt “security force” legislation passed before things hit rock bottom.
AND also why he will work aggresivly to kill the first and second amendments in the mean time.

My wife became very upset when she read about the bill. Had to splash water on her face. You are right they are moving so fast we can’t keep up. Typically passage of legislation that could lead to mandatory national service would be top news item for weeks. Now we didn’t even know about it.

With ACORN in charge of the Census, all of the Red States will mysteriously have large population drops, and all of the Blue States will have large population gains. The Electoral College balance will change so that the Democrats will always have plenty of electoral votes.
