Finally, my dear wife helped me see something positive in this pending disaster -— another Carter administration. His rabid lust to tax American capitalism to death, will certainly cause massive inflation, just like during the Carter years. And there may be even more side effects to his radical anti-Americanism. I see him now as probably the most hated and despised president in our history.

Actually it doesn’t matter at all what you believe, Divide and Conquer ia the playbook. If you have roughly half the people believing that an extremist like Obama is what we need and the other half accepting a socialist like Bush (he was a domestic socialist who thought spending for Unconstitutional silliness like senior drug care was what we needed) then the march toward the destruction of our country is assured. “They” got the playbook years ago when they found out HOW to tell the big lie and get away with it.

IF we are doomed, it will be by the onset of a the next Ice Age - and I am NOT joking about this.
We are WAY beyond the average length of an interglacial period now. How long it will take for us to enter an Ice Age is not certain. Hopefully that process will take a millennium, but it is not well known.
So far, I am sad to report, the SOB has not delivered. When the hell is it going to show up in Maine?
