Obamas anti-life ideology
...
Obama is not opposed to restricting adult stem cell research, because the same executive order which gives funding to embryonic stem cell research takes away funding from adult stem cell research. This is a senseless move on the part of the president; the only stem cell research he is interested in funding is precisely the most dangerous kind, the only kind that a large segment of the population is opposed to on moral grounds, and the only one that has consistently failed to produce the promised miracle cure results. If he were really concerned about life-saving medical advances, as opposed to pro-abortion ideology, he would hardly have undermined the research with proven benefits...

Ping!
Let’s see - defund what is proven to work,
fund what hasn’t resulted in any success...
Must mean there’s a different agenda here,
like devaluing human embryos so that no
“had-abort” people have their consciences tweaked.
Perfectly stated, with the addition that the people who voted for King Barry are/still total morons.
It doesn’t get much more transparent than that.
With his vast experience, it figures. He’s out to ruin this country and our children.
Obama the baby killer.
Typical Rat move. Remove funding from the most promising research to support the culture of death.
ProLife Ping!
Moloch
Why wasn’t this around when Obama’s radical mom was pregnant?
When I realized that the abortion issue was all about not bothering the consciences of those that have already been involved in abortion,
and nothing to do with “keeping it legal” for future “choices”,
it all began to make more sense.
The List, ping
Where are the Church leaders?
This country is really going to deserve what happens to it when God finally decides to act.
I think God has already started to act by giving the majority of voters (aka “the mob”) what they they wanted.
Romans 1:26-32
Yup- just gotta murder htose children- Not only are adult stem cells not as dangerous and tumor/cancer causing potential as embrionic stem cells, but scientists have developed a way to get adult stems cells to change to embrionic ones, or mimic embrionic ones- Did we hear any of htis in obama’;sd speech o nthe merits of destroying embryos? Nope- not a word- Just gotta murder htose children- no other alternative is acceptable t o an extreme liberal socialist!
Disgusting, isn’t it? And these same people call the GOP ‘Hateful’? Cripes- you can’t get any more hateful than to blatantly attack the morals of the majority in htis country, and to stop funding for the more promissing research to fund the one that causes all manner of health problems when the cells mature. The dems coudl not wait to get into the majority just so they could stick it to those with moral values- Yay democracy!
It really is hard to understand how anyone knowledgeable of the facts could support embryonic stem cell research. Even if someone is ambivalent about the issue and about abortio you'd think the evidence would make them lean in factor of focusing on adult and cord cell research first. There is truly a conspiracy of malice and evil at work here that transcends rational consideration.
They’re working for Satan, there’s no doubt about it.
Some knowingly, some unwittingly, some wilfully ignorant of what is motivating their agenda.
Satan’s work on this earth is to kill, steal, and destroy.
It should come as no surprise that his followers would do the same and that watching them do those things is a reliable way of detecting his followers.
It reminds me of Schindler’s list where the Jews would say to themselves, “surely the Nazis won’t kill me, I am important worker.” Moments later, that same person would have a gun shot wound right through the heart.
To be honest, I don’t think I fully understood what is at stake until I first saw that graphic.
The Obamessiah defunds adult stem cell research. His agenda could hardly be more transparent than that.
Thanks for the ping!
To bad obama can’t
There are no words...

You posted something I actually agree whole-heartedly with.
Thanks !
For the record, I am strongly against human embryonic stem cell research. I am also very familiar with the way that NIH funds biomedical research.
I have reviewed the executive orders and I don’t see how this new order would stop funding for non-embryonic stem cell research.
The NIH funds research using many types of human cells and the use of adult stem cells was never prohibited. There has been nothing signed that specifically cuts funding for non-embryonic stem cell research.

Are you aware of the following?:
President Obama Also Kills Bush Executive Order for Adult Stem Cell Research

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — President Barack Obama did more on Monday than just force taxpayers to fund embryonic stem cell research that requires the destruction of human life. He also rescinded an executive order President Bush put into place funding adult stem cells and new research with iPS cells.
Obama also rescinded Executive Order 13435 of June 20, 2007.
President Bush put that order in place in June 2007 when he vetoed a Congressional measure that would have required embryonic stem cell research funding.
Instead of signing the bill, President Bush issued an executive order to press for more research into ways of obtaining embryonic stem cells without harming human life. The order was intended to ultimately fund research into alternatives” to destructive embryonic stem cell research such as altered nuclear transfer (ANT), “regression” (reverting differentiated cells into stem cells), and other methods.
Bush could be said to have been ahead of his time since regression, also known as direct reprogramming, has taken off and the new induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are the talk of the scientific world.
Bioethcis attorney and watchdog Wesley J. Smith says the Obama decision to also reverse this executive order shows Obama is really the anti-science president, not his predecessor.
“Of course, the Administration didn’t have the candor or courage to publicize this part of his nasty work,” he said. “But the now dead order explicitly required funding for alternative methods such as the new IPSCs, which offer so much promise without the ethical contentiousness.”
“Alternative methods are one of the few areas in which we can all row in the same direction, which I thought this president wanted to do,” Smith added.
“I can think of only two reasons for this action, for which I saw no advocacy either in the election or during the first weeks of the Administration,” Smith says. “First, vindictiveness against all things ‘Bush’ or policies considered by the Left to be ‘pro-life’ and second, a desire to get the public to see unborn human life as a mere corn crop ripe for the harvest.”
“So much for taking the politics out of science,” he concludes.

Yes, I have also read that article. It just seems like they are jumping to conclusions here. The reason Obama rescinded both of Bush’s orders was because they limited the esc research that the feds could fund. The first order on August 9th, 2001 allowed funding of esc, but limited it to cell lines that were already created.
http://stemcells.nih.gov/policy/2001policy.htm
The 2nd order, from June 20, 2007 (Executive Order 13435) was made to set up more NIH funding lines that would specifically go to ALL types of human stem cell research. These grants have already been awarded and Obama’s new order does not take this money away. The reason Obama wanted to rescind that order is because it specifically excludes funding for any research that creates or destroys any new embryos.

Again, I am opposed to any research that destroys human life. I am also angry that the white house, media, etc have continually misled people on the issue of esc research. I don’t want to be a part of spreading the same kind of misinformation. That is why I want to point out that Obama’s actions have NOT cut funding for non-embryonic stem cell research.
It’s about giving no human value to embryos.
It’s an abortion thing.
I vote for the former.
My dentist seemed to think that Obama was going to do great things with stem cells. He likes Obama, but I explained to him the success with adult sc, and how Obama wants to take funding away from adult sc research. He was surprised, and asked why.
Anyway, if an educated dentist doesn’t know just how many treatments there are for adult stem cells, imagine how ignorant the general public is. We need to inform as many people as we can. Here’s a letter to the editor I wrote:
“Dear Editor:
Pro-lifers love stem cell research - the NONembryonic kind, that is. Nonembryonic stem cells, or Adult stem cells (includes umbilical cord stem cells), are also the stem cells that work. There have been over 70 successful treatments from Adult stem cells, including treatments for various Cancers, Parkinsons Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke Damage, MS and many other diseases and injuries.
However, not even one successful treatment from embryonic stem cells.
So why does President Obama want to waste tax dollars on something that doesn’t work? Some say it’s to desensitize Americans about abortion.
I was also surprised to learn that Obama rescinded former President Bush’s policy (Executive Order 13435 of June 20, 2007) which funded Adult stem cell research. So in other words, President Obama is giving taxpayer dollars for immoral embryonic stem cell research which does not work, but wants to take away money for ethical Adult stem cell research which does work!
And we now have iPS cells which reprogram human skin cells with the same properties as embryonic stem cells without using embryos, so there is absolutely no excuse for destruction and experimentation on human embryos.
Let’s not bail out another unethical and unsuccessful business, the Embryonic stem cell business.”
Excellent!
