Posted on 03/17/2009 11:50:28 AM PDT by AndrewWalden
A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obamas upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obamas numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.

I’m not the one defending Obama here, you are making it an easy out for him, he produces a long form, your entire theory collapses... Which makes me think that his your whole game.. You want a house of cards that can easily collapse..
Who is the obamanoid here?
But I guess the keyboard commandos have to all have their little games to make them feel big.. keep their lists, check it twice.. create a bogus war..
El Gato: Did anyone say it was?
Me: How else could you possibly consider it evidence of a Canadian birth?
. But, if BHO had been born in Seattle, why hide that?/
There is no reason to believe he was born either in Seattle or in Canada. My point was simply that his turning up in Seattle after his birth is not evidence of a Canadian birth.
Actually the way it worked is that Mr. Jefferson was a native-born citizen of Virginia. Virginia was one of the united states and so he was also considered a native-born citizen of the United States. He certainly was never naturalized.
Regarding Rathergate and your other blather, non-experts were able to determine from images of the fake memo that it was indeed fake. Some "experts" played with themselves for a while, or they are still playing with themselves, suggesting that they cannot tell about the authenticity of the memo without holding it themselves. I would guess that 99.99%+ of such "experts" voted for John Kerry.
No it is you that is totally ignorant and disingenious, mrmeaningless.
If he was born and raised in Hawaii, there would be some shred of evidence forthcoming from those who remembered his young white mother and her black son. Through the eyes of a nurse in a pediatrician’s office, they would have very likely been the only parent/child combo that met that appearance.
Your feigned over reaction to the list in the post is somewhat funny. No one is suggesting that someone was keeping a list “in a free society”, but if you knew you worked at the hospital that year or were her room mate or neighbor or friend, the overwhelming news cycles of his Hawaiin origins would have sparked at least one memory.
Why does no one remember the young couple from U of HI? No one seems to remember the pregnant girl in Russsian class. No one remembers BHO, Sr. & Stanley Ann as a couple. Where are the family members, neighbors, and friends that would have been around her and her child? Didn’t the grandparents, parents, or Barry-kid have any friends or playmates? To assume that no one remembers them is to assume that they lived in a bubble and shunned all social and personal contact. There is no plausible explanation for this Hawaiin gap, they simply weren’t there.
Then why the need for the "...or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution..." clause in Article II, Section 1?
Regarding Rathergate and your other blather, non-experts were able to determine from images of the fake memo that it was indeed fake.
Of course they were. I'll also point out that two-thirds of the experts who actually saw the original documents were unwilling to say for the record if they were genuine. CBS ran the story anyway.
I would guess that 99.99%+ of such "experts" voted for John Kerry.
Of course you do.
Here is another for your list:
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OFFICIAL REPORT from the Parliament of the Republic of Kenya
- Obama is a son of the soil of this country [Kenya]
How lame is your response?
You had to fast forward 15 years?
You should be able to answer this question, but I guess it would render hours of your smoke blowing irrelevant.
Jefferson and his contemporaries were not natural-born citizens as understood by themselves, the Framers. The Framers wanted to restrict the Presidency to this class of citizen, but there were none who would qualify during the early years of the Republic, so they grandfathered themselves and others who were citizens at the time of the adoption of the Constitution.
Corsi had no input into that list, so why do you enlist him in your response?
Here’s one for you
8. In the case at bar, this Court threatens to sanction the undersigned attorney with the costs allegedly borne by the Defendants when all that would be necessary to terminate this political chicanery (substitute crisis) that now has involved hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens would be for President Obama to display his actual birth certificate which should include the customary doctors signature (or mid-wife) and hospital name.
9. Instead, Soetoro/Obama has blocked access to his records by sealing his college records, refusing access to his vault Birth Certificate; and all other documents which would provide his citizenship status.

Why do you waste your breathe responding to her?
She has been asking the same questions since last July and getting the same answers, over and over again!
She’s like the Star Travelling Gnome, minus the obligatory LOL’s.
Gemsbok, there are few things that would be less remarkable than a mixed race child in a Hawaiian hospital in that era !
As to some who may have had personnel recollections, I was able to find a partial list on Google in nabout 10 minutes:
NS has openly stated that her presence and work on these BC threads is for her amusement since she enjoys inciting anger and arguments. A troll by any other name ...
It's much more amusing watching you try and do it.
Jefferson and his contemporaries were not natural-born citizens as understood by themselves, the Framers.
Which is what I said, and which you found so amusing. The Constitution identifies two classes of citizens - natural born and naturalized. If you are not one then you are, by definition, the other. The Founders were naturalized because they became citizens of the United States by law when the country was established. Knowing this, they inserted the one exception to the natural-born citizen requirement. Otherwise nobody would qualify.
Now quick, who was the last U.S. president elected under this clause?
Sometimes I don't. It depends upon whether the question asked, or misstatement made, is one that I think might be on the mind of someone relatively new to this or any other topic discussed here on FR. I find honest naysayers (Non-Sequiter only rarely qualifies.) to be useful in helping to elicit the strongest arguments for points I wish to make. For example it was Non-Sequiter's suggestion that there are only two classes of citizen (natural-born and naturalized) that led me to ask which class Thomas Jefferson fell into. S/he may not understand but I believe that this question about Mr. Jefferson clearly helps to elucidate what the Framers meant by natural-born. Ditto with this most recent question about why they included the grandfather clause in the qualifications the Framers specified for people who could assume the Presidency.
Which link contains any indication or confirmation that he was born in Hawaii and spent his early years there?
