A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obama’s upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obama’s numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.

I mean calls from Ann to Gramma who then called or otherwise informed the newspapers that the baby was born in HI at the false address. I am not saying this happened, just that it could have. Since 0bama has scrubbed, sealed or otherwise made unavailable practically all the identifying records of his life, and wrote (with another’s help, no doubt) two stories of his Wonderful Life that are in the main, fantasies - what the facts are is very difficult to determine.
Since Marshall’s perv book was written IIRC in the 30’s, the girl could not have been Ann. Second, LucyT might know about those papers; I never heard any conclusion about them myself.

And, BJ - if you are sincerely interested in this topic, you should do a FR search and read and read. This article has been dissected and vivisected already and proven to be a bunch of gobbledygook, misrepresenting what Okubo actually said. Neither she nor Fukino or whoever the other one was said that 0bama was born in HI, nor that either had actually seen his birth cert.

Entry and exit records for ports of entry into the US are appearing more and more on the web. I have done some searching of the databases and find the majority end in the late 50’s.
I am not sure when they become public record, but it might take a trip to a local library or whatever agency holds those archives.
You do the work, I have read almost every thread about the eiigibility issue I can find on FR since the early fall or thereabouts. You read the articles and then you’ll know too.

Marshall’s sex book was a semi fictional book based on his own experiences and the episode he referred to happened with his first wife to whom he was married between the years 1930 to 1935.
The Port of Entry papers referred to were mentioned by Ed Hale and I discounted that having had personal experience traversing the border between B.C. and the U.S. quite often in the 1960’s. No records were kept at that time of such trips.
He can read and find out himself. I am 100% certain he is a “returnee”.

Frank Marshall Davis' perv book was published in 1968, not the 1930s. Among other things, he claims to have been "swinging" in Hawaii with a couple from Seattle in the late 1950s.
