No figures here, but an interesting geographic illustration of where the foreclosures are:

Oh there's one other cost of illegals that has gone generally unnoticed. Calling the Old Media: Five Million Illegals Have Illegal Mortgages in U.S.A.!

MALKIN: Illegal immigrant factor

Once again its helpful to provide some maps and stats: Look at the map where those who owe more than the house is worth. Notice any similarities to the unemployment picture and concentrations of illegals

Sadly Illegal Immigrants To Get Next Bailout

I couldn't find confirmation of the foreclosure rates of illegals, but there is an undeniable correlation between the rate and the numbers of illegal immigrants in a particular area.

IMO 25% easy passes the smell test.

this is cute. 25% of the bad loans were to illegal aliens.

We have a lot more legal aliens who participated in real estate and mortgage scams. They often have minimal loyalty to America and always have a home country to flee to when they get caught and arrested

We have lots of good immigrants but are getting much more impoverished and criminally inclined legal immigrants than 20-30-50 years ago
These low quality immigrants come in via family reunification. Via chain immigration
They sure don't come in here because of any skills they have or English proficiency

I will be willing to bet that your percentage of illegal’s failed loans is terribly low.

Its tough to get ahold of exact numbers. If you look at the stats I posted you’ll notice that about 49% of the bad mortgages have gone to hispanics. These are heavily concentrated in high population density hispanic counties—especially in california. These areas also have high unemployment. In this case it wouldn’t be too tough to wag that 50% of the bad mortgages went to illegals. But then that makes out the total % of bad mortgages to illegals as being at about 25%.

Illegals are huge in number, but I cannot see 25% of the mortgages going to them......

I agree read my post #25. We have plenty of illiterate, innumerate legal immigrants working the sytsem in the real estate sector and automible insurance fraud, other frauds too

What isn’t being reported is many of the homeowners are illegals who never had any intention of paying off their mortgages. I recall a couple years ago Wells Fargo was in the news because they were giving illegals mortgages.

So the solution to the housing bubble is to prop up that bubble, and doing so using illegal aliens?

What the hell is wrong with these people? Man, I loathe libertarians, and this is why.

They are stealth New World Order puppets...they are all in favor of the Global Plantation.

The reality is that the goal of 70-90% population elimination is the real goal. The world has already been carved up into territories, a currency and bank proposed and a government structure are already in place.

The WSJ is well-written, but just like the far Left, are all pining to be a Party member when the NWO takes power.

Actually, HUD estimated over 5,000,000 bad loans were to illegal immigrants and the ACLU and pressure groups did not allow banks to verify citizenship status (but they always photocopied my ID....why is that?)

Immigrants Can Help Fix the Housing Bubble

When you consider that illegal ones probably built most of those houses any way, it has a certain logic to it.

I work in a hospital and am sick and tired of seeing illegal aliens being treated with no job or insurance.

Of course, now that my hospital is hemorrhaging money, they're starting layoffs. Perfect.

The only silver lining if I get laid off is less $ for The Big Zero to spend.

I linked to that article. My bad. HUD later called up about that and said to KFYI:
http://nwrepublican.blogspot.com/2008/10/hud-says-illegal-aliens-hold-5-million.html
A person from Housing and Urban Development contacted KFYI to tell us the number was inaccurate, that there were only 2.3 million mortgages held by immigrants,

In Wash Dc, the foreclosure notices are about 95% in foreign last names. Who knows if they are legal or not; we are too damn squirrley on letting folks in here.

Having home prices drop to where they should be is a good thing. Why would we want to “fix” that by propping up prices?

“Pretty soon, we won’t need actual Americans at all.”

Exactly! And THAT is the point. As the invasion continues and we embrace “multiculturalism” we are sealing our own fate. I wonder once the US has been destroyed if “Nirvana” will have been reached?
