When easy money is waved in front of people, many partake. It looks like Enterprise rent-a-car lobbied for TARP funds and may have laid off people to give the look of a struggling company. However, the literature on their website proves contrary. Did they dupe the U.S. Government?

When incentives are offered, people will conform themselves to receive them.
IRA’s and 401k’s are made more attractive by receiving tax deferred status, Food stamps and tax credits encourage more children in poorer households, and business locations are swayed by receptive zoning laws and subsidies, to name a few examples.
That companies would restructure to qualify for cash infusions should be a huge unsurprise.
Large piles of loose cash, will bring out the crook in almost anyone who is not grounded in principle rather than personal profit.
See, numerous government “trust funds”, Social Security, etc.
See, union retirement accounts.
See, Government bailouts, subsidies, NGO’s, Non-profits, etc.
See, AARP
See, Any environmental group, taking government money to be used against the best interest of the majority of the population.
See, Planned Parenthood.
See, Most Senators and Congressemen, and women of course.
See, Federal and state welfare recipiants, who will vote against anything that will reduce welfare which equals a reduction in the financial load on the rest of the population.
See drug lords, kingpins, thugs, dealers, transporters, etc.
See the Mob,
See, your nearest dictator
See Bernie Madoff
See Barack Obama
See, the rest of us try to understand the greed avarice, selfishness, power grabbing ruthlessness, of the crook class as they attempt and many times succeed in making slaves of the honest and principled.
