Okay! That's it.
I've had it with the Obomba experiment. It didn't work.
Now. How do we get rid of this idiot and his miserable administration?
We're worn out already so it's time to switch the channel. No more Obomba!

I’ll make sure I get a personal guarantee from this Tom Vilsack that the Federal government will reimburse me for all the retrofits and repairs needed to my gaskets, engines, catalytic converters, fuel injectors, fuel pumps, fuel lines, etc., as well as all my time lost, inconveniences and expenses incurred while having my vehicles repaired of the damage caused by or modified to accommodate fuel with a higher ethanol content than they were designed for.

Increasing the percentage of ethanol in gasoline from 10% to 15% will increase the amount of ethanol sold by 50%. It will drive up the price of corn resulting in high food prices and will reduce the gas mileage of vehicles since ethanol is much inferior to gasoline. Follow the money, folks.

But automakers and the producers of outdoor power equipment say the science has not yet shown that the higher “midlevel” blend of ethanol will safeguard engines, fuel lines, emission controls and other components.
“There has not been sufficient testing of motor vehicles and non-road power equipment ... to determine whether any midlevel ethanol blend would meet current federal air quality protection requirements or be safe for consumers to use,” said a coalition whose members included automakers, boat owners, motorcycle manufacturers and oil refiners.

When corn hit $7/bu the cry here was
Katy, bar the door!
Happened in the 1930’s too. Never a good sign!

It’s shocking that the former governor or Iowa would suggest such a proposal....

Run that crap in a two cycle engine and it will ruin them.

Ethanol is a failure as an additive. It is hygroscopic, so it attracts water from the air and rusts your gas tank. The rust clogs injectors and carb jets. In cold weather it ices up the carb and fuel lines. In above freezing temperatures, it spoils your gas mileage. It takes about a gallon of diesel to harvest enough corn to make a gallon of ethanol...and the ethanol has less energy per unit volume. It raises food prices by diverting food into fuel. It's only viable because the taxpayer is subsidizing it. Stop the fraud.

More ethanol in his gas? Tell him to eat a couple ears of corn followed by a big dinner at Taco Bell.
