I just got an email from our retired border agent friends. We were discussing guns, Mexico earlier and the thought the libs would use our 2nd amendment against us. Well, its already started.

Just one line:
American arms dealers line the U.S. side of the border, supplying the criminal elements with weapons while the Mexican government, unable to fully employ its population, tries only half-heartedly to shut down its most lucrative export, drugs. The result is a closed loop that would be comical if it werent so tragic. The guns flow from El Paso, Texas to Juarez, Mexico, and the drugs flow from Juarez to El Paso. The arms dealers and their defenders fall back on Second Amendment rights to justify making weapons plentiful even as the product that is fought over and defended and distributed is banned in the United States.
____________
Arms dealers line the border!!! Havent ya seen em down there passing out guns to the illegal aliens!!
Eleanor, you miserable old ____!
Right.....
Cancun.....google.....sounds like a lovely place to send your kid.
Mar 5, 2009 Mexican troops raided Cancun's police headquarters and arrested the chief and dozens of his officers in connection with the murder. ...

And for the un-learned...I mean ANYONE!
I had my grandson sign a statement that if he is captured by the police or other criminals that he understands that any financial help I might be capable of give to his captors would directly affect his parents inheritance, his own inheritance, his sibling’s post graduate fund and their future, would probably destroy the financial planning two generations and very likely would result in his death anyway. I told him if he is foolish and irresponsible enough to go to Mexico I would have no choice but to disregard his needs in favor of the needs of his immediate family when dealing with his captors. He couldn’t believe I was serious but I insisted that he sign it and understand how serious I was.
Too bad. You are missing a great experience. I like the Bahamas for snorkeling due to its crystal clear water. You should try it sometime. It lets you just relax and forget the world and all its problems for a while. I once got so lost in my exploring and thoughts that when they blew the horn to return to the boat I was at least a quarter mile away and had to swim like crazy to get back. It really is wonderful.
I’ll watch the video. But I wish you all the enjoyment you can get from it. I’ll be sitting on the beach smilin’ and getting tanned. :)
Ah, to be young and stupid again—no thanks.
Galveston, Corpus Christi and South Padre Island ought to be burning up Sen. Cornyn’s phones. Galveston is still hurting from hurricane Ike, so they really could use more Spring Break tourists.
:-) OK Have a margarita on me.
The drinking age in the US is 21. In Mexico, it’s 18. Most college kids are <21. One reason why Mexico is a popular destination for Spring Break.
We just returned from Concan, Texas, John.
Harder (but not impossible) for 18 year olds to get drunk there. Place the blame where it belongs - MADD.
Can our representatives be any more stupid????????????
Throw this clown out with the cat crap.
Got your TX ping list handy?
We used to enjoy going down there as well but not any more.
If I want to see Mexico I only have to travel a few miles away to the downtown area of our city.
Looks like juicy kidnapping targets to me.
Actually, if you're into tropical vacations, the continental US really doesn't have much to offer. Even in the Florida keys, a January trip is iffy if you are seeking heat. You can live like a king in Cancun and spend half what a budget Hawaii trip would cost. And the flight is much shorter.
I had planned on going there a few years ago but 9-11 happened and with the rising level of violence in Mexico back then and the BS at the airports, I long since changed my mind.
Been to the tropics and hated it. I prefer temperate climates.
