North American Union to Replace USA?
http://www.humanevents.com ^ | 05/19/2006 | Jerome R. Corsi

President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy.

Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.

President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union:

This is old news yet I found nothing in the FR search. I thought I should post it for those who didn't know about this. I am finding out that many have never even heard of it. I would have posted a mainstream media article but none exists.

Phyllis Schafly wrote in considerable detail on this business. A lot of people thought that she was paranoid, but I’m afraid not.

Now it’s a whole new ball game, and we have other more immediate concerns, such as making deals with Muslim terrorists and destroying our economy.

But no doubt Obama will get around to this NWO stuff again, because he wants to be World Leader.

Between NAFTA and the NAU was supposed to be an intermediate entity called the Free Trade Area of the Americas. It was supposed to be in place by 2005; obviously it is not-it has stalled , according to the articles I read at the time primarily because too many CA and SA countries feared DC would be too dominant. Anyone who thinks the NAU is pure tinfoil should remember that the FTAA is not fantasy. In fact, if the article I linked to is accurate, the next meeting to get the thing off the ground is scheduled to take place this year.

But, expect to see keywords added like “kooks,” “black helicopters,” and tinfoil... and the thread moved to “chat.” ;-)

The players and motives may be different, but the NAU is real, and we are moving towards it.

Eventually, the average citizen. When it becomes cheaper to burn dollars than firewood, that will take a lot of them out of circulation. I'm only partially kidding.

Will one Amero be worth one U.S. dollar? If the amero becomes less valuable than the dollar then wouldn’t the federal reserve obtain even more money through interest it charges on the U.S dollar? I also can’t believe we would print more money (causing more debt) and give to the banks who ultimately will be owned by the same people we will have to pay this money back to.

The federal reserve would like nothing more than to control the money of the whole Americas (or world). They control the value of the U.S. dollar and could easily diminish it's value to make us believe the Amero is our savior. They have already called in massive loans as they did in 1920 and 1929. Mass panic and stock sell-offs happened then as it is now. This will be the greatest robbery in the history of America. They could decrease the amount of currency printed and have the power to bring our economy to it's knees and come to “save” us using our current despair to continue their greed filled, unconstitutional reserve act.

“I have never quite figured out why anyone listens to Dr. Corsi...or bothers with WND.”

I never quite figured out why some conservatives like to eat their own.
Corsi is on our side and was quite active in trying to show
that Obamie is illegal.
WND is no worse then the New York Slimes, and Corsi is no worse at reporting then anyone in the MSM.
We have very few on our side, and need all the help we can get.

Various academics have proposed various versions of a North American Union for years. The concept of a North American currency called the “Amero” comes from one of those proposals.

There is no proof that any agency of the US, Canadian, or Mexican governments supports this in any meaningful way.

Jerome Corsi, does not have the best record. He frequently taking things out of context and gets basic facts wrong. His articles on Interstate 69 and the Trans Texas Corridor betrayed a basic lack of understanding of the actual issue and a penchant for sensationalizing the mundane by basically lying about it.

I would recommend any Freeper take his words with a large grain of salt.

Please enlighten me. I would like to know.
Did he lie about his trip to Kenya?
Is everyone lying about Obama’s birth country?

I know little about him other then having heard him on Kook to Kook, but he DOES seem to be on our side.
Maybe we should get our news from Stephy Stephanopoulos?

He lied a lot about the Trans Texas corridor and I-69. He took a highway project (a bloated and oversold project*, which never stood a snowballs chance in Hades of ever getting passed) and painted it as an attempt to give Mexico sovereignty over American soil. That was false.

I would suggest you get your news from multiple sources and fact check them every so often.

*The TTC envisioned putting a toll Interstate highway, a railroad line, pipelines and other stuff into a single strip across Texas. Given the amount of land that would have had to have been taken, it was guaranteed to fail. It did so in the most spetacular failure of a highway project since the Embarcadero Freeway project in San Francisco in the late 1960’s.

“Lied” is one word that I hate, and rarely use it.
It is a word that should not be used so casually.
