Republican senator says Snopes settled 'eligibility'
World Net Daily ^ | 3/6/09 | Unruth

Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., has referred constituents raising concerns over President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office to an online "fact" organization that relies for its answer partly on information from the Obama campaign.

"Thank you for your recent e-mail. Senator Obama meets the constitutional requirements for presidential office. Rumors pertaining to his citizenship status have been circulating on the Internet, and this information has been debunked by Snopes.com, which investigates the truth behind Internet rumors."

Ask the RINOs how many of them have even been ON a website?

Snopes held out hope until LONG after the Clintons left the White House that Hillary didn’t LIE when she said she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary.

Snopes.com is politically reliable as Wikipedia which isn't very much.

No wonder we are in trouble when we elect the village idiots to public office. Maybe this guy is looking for a cabinet job or something.

I wrote Mel Martinez today about the his response to this issue.

He claimed that 0Bama has already been 'vetted' twice by the people and I had to remind him that those were popularity contests and had nothing to do with him showing his birth certificate to prove eligibility!!

Don’t forget that the nation’s leading news agencies turn to Media Matters for an accurate account of the Rush Limbaugh program. Seems most newsrooms and journalists’ cars don’t have radios.

Obama’s handlers have infiltrated far into the Republican Party.

Snopes skewered my film, HILLARY! UNCENSORED. I sent them 12 pages of corrections for their errors, misstatements, lies, and half truths. The witch who reviewed it, disgraced former TIME “journalist” Viveca Novak, even admitted that all she saw was the clip we had on Google Videos —— she had not bothered to watch the whole film.

I must have missed the part where the USofA vested it’s judicial authority to random websites.

What are they putting in the $100-dollar-a-pound steak that Obama feeds his Congressional guests.

Every time, they just about get me back into the party, the ‘elders’ pull some stunt like this.

I guess taking to the streets is going to be the only option available to us if the likes of Kyl and Martinez are all we have for party ‘leadership’.

The pathetic thing is that if you wrote to him and tried to explain that Snopes is baised left, he’d probably dismiss you as some kind of hopeless kook. We are so screwed.

Snopes works hard to put a liberal spin on everything.

Maybe they’ve been vetting all the Obama appointments. It would explain all the mistakes.

...”The credibility that they’ve established is based on the laziness of reporters who have used them as a source.” That last quote is quite chilling: A Los Angeles-based husband and wife-—just two people with goodness knows what agenda or leanings-—have somehow managed to establish themselves as a pretty big boulder in the information stream. Most people accord the Mikkelsons a fair amount of credibility as the best source for confirmation or refutation of widely distributed Internet memes. Given how much reliance is being placed on their determinations, it seems like we do very well to know where they’re coming from....

...For the Boudreaux photo, one would have to assume that Lance Cpl. Ted J. Boudreaux Jr. is pretty darned stupid to have 1) written a sign saying that he had killed the boy’s dad and then impregnated his sister, 2) posed for a photo next the boy holding that sign, and 3) allowed the photo to become public. Given the disparity in the status assigned the two entries, one has to assume that the Mikkelsons believe that it is at least possible that LCpl. Boudreaux is that stupid, but that it is not at all possible that the Muslim protesters...
