U.S. Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Case of Football Coach Prohibited from Bowing Head During Team's Pre-Game Prayer, Lets Stand Prayer Ban

WASHINGTON, DC - In a blow to athletic coaches across the country, the United States Supreme Court has refused to weigh in on the question of whether or not high school football coaches have a right to silently bow their heads as a sign of respect while their student players offer a pre-game prayer.

Now think of this,,, a court of law has ruled on how a man may or may not position his head. I hope this guy does not give in. What?? Are they going to arrest this guy for looking at his shoes while his team prays????

He needs to hold his head up and back slightly. then they’ll think he’s just stretching.

He should claim that he’s bowing his head to the Obamessiah. Then it would be okay.

Americans are too easily bullied by those who are paper tigers in word and deed. The coach should continue just as he has and put the ball in their court. His players will not likely learn anything anymore important than one standing up for his/her beliefs and principles.

I agree completely. the fight never gets any easier the longer you wait. Eventually, the more we all just go along and give in,,, they will be at our door pounding in the middle of the night with fists clenched!
I have already prepared myself for being fired from my job. There are certain things I will not do and certain things I will not remain silent on. I speak my mind as it is.
I really do not care anymore. We all have to pick out battles,,, but sometimes the battles are just thrust upon us as well. There just isn’t any where else to run and hide.

Gee I hope someone takes down this painting of George Washington. I’m sure it must be illegal now...

Howza 'bout these apples: I'll hold my noggin in any pose I wish, when I wish, and regardless of what dictate the invasive, Neo-Marxist, Third Circus judiciary spews forth. But, know this: I shall never hold it in the position that they seem to practice from the bench: up my own ass!

I hope he bows his head as he always did, then raise his chin up in a haughty fashion, and scratch his nose with his middle finger.

If he holds his hands up like Muslims do when they pray, they will all be too intimidated to say anything. It’s only Christian prayers that are prohibited.

He has a Constitutionally protected right to freely excercise his religion. So do his players.

Conitnue to bow your head, coach. What are they going to do, fire you for your religion? That’s illegal, you know.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I don't see that he is establishing a religion, but I do see the prohibition of the free exercise thereof by his adversaries.

This is probably the most mangled, liberal mauled part of the Constitution, next to the 2nd Amendment.

This amendment regarding religion was designed to prevent establishing a State religion, in which all others are illegal.

It still works today. Listen up Islam, and refer to the 2nd amendment if you have any questions.
