But standing around like hippies in public is so much fun, for some. Doing it in "fancy dress" like the powerless British citizens would be even more stylish and un-American.
IMO, a "stop buying" campaign would be much more effective. Stop being such consumers in order to deprive the evil ones of revenues. Shoot, encourage them to spend much more, while you're at it. A general default would prevent big government any time soon.

But, stop buying what? Do you mean wreck the economy then rebuild? Do you mean we should “shrug” and let the non-producers go to hell? As appealing as that is for me for a lot of reasons, I have a lot of customers, friends, family members who are not equipped to be self sufficient and would be really screwed - I don’t think I could do that. Is that what you mean?
